    • Nothing of interest yet

Make sure you do the Myer price match.

Picked one up! Got them to price match Myer, well, got them to round up 80c to $400 flat so I could use my HN AMEX offer. So essentially comes to 400 - 100 AMEX credit - 50 Philips cashback = $250. Great price, essential half of the $499 RRP!

    Thanks OP!

  • The good guys have the same price s that of myer.i also got just an hour ago and which make it $250 with all the cashback ie Amex and phillips

  • Another day, another bad experience at hardly normal. They refused to price match myer because the price is too low.

Did you try to go online and get them to match it via live chat? Worth a shot

      • +3

Yep live chat was happy to price match. I drove 15mins to another hardly normal and he was happy to price match too so picked 1 up on the spot. Might be unlucky with the first store..had one of those grumpy old lady who must have worked there for the last decade

  • Might have to mark this deal as expired :( was planning to get one for my sister for xmas but it is now $479 on myer's website

    • Whoa must have been a pricing error! Lucky to those few who managed to buy one!

By the way the build quality on these is poor. I took back my first one cos the main button didn't click properly, or really, at all (thought cos you use it to select, start, stop I wanted one that worked properly). With my second one, one of the mounts holding the heating element in wasn't clipped in properly, had to use pliers to bend it slightly so it fit into the holder bit and didn't keep popping out. Was making random vibration sounds until I fixed it!

It's made in Turkey! I played around with the similar smaller model (made in China) and it felt a bit better built.
