Came across this sale while looking for a quilt cover, (the rare and normally fairly expensive Super King kind.)

Lots of the regular outlet sale items fall under this sale category too like Ryan towels for $15-$25 etc but some bargains to be had on the quilt covers and sheets especially.

Offer also states Exclusive VIP Offer: Spend $200 and receive a free gift.
The free gift triggers automatically in cart if you are signed in. Not sure if they are different - but I got a pillow protector.

$9.95 postage if under $150, or free Click&Collect depending on stock availability.

  • I looked at the quilt cover set that you bought and found it quite strange that there was no mention of the fabric used. I do like their care instructions though.

    • quite strange that there was no mention of the fabric used.

not strange at all - it’s business.
Blend ratio, cotton variety, weave type, thread density are characteristics that determine quality - not something to be emphasised to the customer in this downmarket product.
Mere branding is what you’re buying here.

Pretty sure most of this stuff has been $79 before.

And some of it still is $79.
The sale is $99 and under of which there are some items I've been watching that at $99, are the lowest they have been.

And some of it that is currently $99 has been $79 before…

Dri Glo towels. They’re made in Australia by an Aussie company using locally sourced quality cotton.

      e.g. online at https://www.manchestermadness.com.au

They also sell Dri Glo at Myer, Spotlight, Harris Scarfe.

Sheridan is now a brand of Pacific Brands which is a subsidiary of Hanesbrands Inc - an American clothing company.

My personal experience with the Dri Glo towels from Aussie cotton was that they shed a lot of fiber in the beginning. Very nice otherwise. I tried a bamboo towel from a different brand and it still sheds after several washes, absolutely ridiculous but it's the softest towel I have.

        • Agreed, bamboo is amazingly soft but nothing I've owned made with bamboo fibres has ever lasted very long.

        • @KLoNe: I’ve got a bamboo fibre sheet that has lasted well, it is a bit heavier than a standard sheet so that is probably why.

        • @try2bhelpful: thanks! Do you remember what brand you bought?

@KLoNe: sorry, no it was a long time ago and it was on special.

I prefer the Ryan range over the Austyn.
Not sure if I've purchased any others from there.

I just checked my order history and I bought Ryan towels in May 2014, been washed multiple times since then, still using them. There was only a minimal amount of shedding when new and they are still quite thick. So I can recommend Ryan…unless the quality has changed since then.

  • I presume the Sheridan places at the DFOs would have the same deal, if people want to have a good look at what they are buying. You could also look at the Adair’s range whilst you are there, as the DFOs often have one of those as well.

  • Looks finished?
