Qantas Frequent Flyer Store - Still Waiting!

Hi all. First time poster so hopefully this is right! Can anyone please help me?? I ordered my daughter an iPhone 7 as a Christmas present on the 27th November from the QFF sale using points plus pay with expected delivery 8th December. As of 18th December - nothing - no communication - nothing! Anyone else in the same situation? I have called multiple times and sent emails with no response. There is an absolute lack of communication - they are really busy as apparently everyone in Australia ordered from the store in the sale! It's absolutely disgusting they admit they have the phone there but it hasn't been sent due to an error on their part. They are still advertising the phone with 7 day dispatch. Any suggestions of who I can contact to take the matter further?? Perhaps they can explain to my 15 year old daughter why she has no gift this Christmas. :(

  • I ordered some frying pans years ago and it took two months to arrive.

  • Give your daughter the invoice or some indication that she is getting the phone as her gift. Say the actual phone is still on its way. If she complains, she don’t deserve the phone.

  • That's the issue qantas will give no indication when or even if the phone will be sent. Their customer service is appalling. The poor kid has actually saved all year to contribute $$$ to pay for half the phone and for us to be able to order it for her we paid the rest using points whe they had the 25% off points special. I suggested that Qantas FF supply vouchers worth equivalent value so I can purchase from Apple directly or send the phone overnight express but they have zero care factor, I have been trying to have this issue resolved for 10 days now and am at a loss

  • Not real good at all but you are only one of many in limbo due to poor support and no qc if they stuffed up.

    But realistically do you expect them to courier it express to you or hand deliver? or something (would be nice)

    Well if it doesn't arrive in time your daughter while disappointed already knows what gift she's getting and has contributed etc. It's not like she's 5 and believes in santa and will be devastated, is it.

    They can't even operate their flights on time.
