    Has anyone clicked the "Cancel before next bill" button after sign up?. its says you can Keep listening until then just worried it will stop it straight away.

      You keep the subscription until it expires. So you can cancel straight away.

      • It wont stop working. But it might not cancel. Beware.

        • Why wouldn't it cancel if I hit the cancel button?

          @tidus4eva: I had an issue, where I used that cancel function amd it didnt cancel. I wrote a huge complaint to google.

          I've never had an issue.

    • I've been doing it a few times already — just hit cancel, then it'll take you to the billing page, there you got to hit cancel subscription again to cancel. But after that, your account will still work until the end of the full trial period. you will also receive a cancellation confirmation email.

        I think this was my issue… The second time I did it I noted I had to hit cancel twice, then scroll down and 'confirm' or something. It may have been user error but the system gave me the impression that I had cancelled. Undoubtedly deliberate.

    Interestingly I see the 4 month offer but when I hit redeem it offers me only 2 months… Strange.

  • Former subscriber, asked me to accept 4 months offer, but when applied, only gave me two months. Still happy with that.

    I'm not a new user. I accepted a similar offer last year and cancelled it before I started to get charged for it. Now trying to activate it with this offer it gave me 2 months free. That's a sweet deal

    • Not sure - it's one of the 5 options at the top of Play store home screen for me.

      I don't understand the TV offer though - as in, if I'm interested in a show it's likely cheaper to buy the whole season rather than 3 at 99c and having to buy the other episodes at full price. I guess if you've missed an episode somewhere? Or testing out a new show?

      It does, I just signed up for this deal and going to YouTube now automatically shows me YouTube Red.

      I actually find the YouTube Red much more useful than google music. my family watches youtube every day.

        Same! I watch YouTube much more than Netflix and I also find the song recommendations to be better on YouTube Music

    I only just signed up last Sunday (began my one month trial), I wonder if Google will apply the new 4 month promo to my account.

  • Was a long term subscriber and membership ran out 2 days ago, this let me sign up again for the trail till april.

    • Head into the Play Music app > Settings > Unsubscribe.

  • My "Free" (Thanks Telstra) Family subscription expired yesterday.
    I was able to subscribe again on a single user licence for 4 months using the browser, (Play Music App would only give me 2 months).
    Added on my "free" (thanks Telstra) Google Play Music gift code for subscription out to October.

    Just tried to sign up and keep getting "invalid code" when it opens the app.
