Nacon Revolution 2 Pro Controller for PlayStation 4 - $135 Delivered @ MightyApe eBay

70
POWERUP

This is (I think) the cheapest price ever on the V2 version of the Nacon Revolution controller. It's a PS4 controller with support for many pro features but the big deal is it has the proper layout of the control sticks (offset vertically rather than claw-grip on the standard dualshocks).

MightyApe already had the cheapest price ($160 vs $200 at JB Hifi and EB Games), 20% makes it definitely worth buying if you value your carpal tunnels. After all: https://www.giantbomb.com/api/image/scale_super/2565383-8822…

Looks like xbox controller, now ps players will be comfortable playing games

  • Damn, hope there is a Ps4 Pro bargain for Boxing Day at HN now… A lot of exclusives I'm keen to play but can't deal with the Ds4 controller. Does anyone have one first hand care to provide an opinion?

You guys just need to learn how to hold game controllers correctly! ;-)

That is, resting lightly in your fingertips, rather than gripping it with your palms.

I suppose if you only play games that use left analogue stick and right buttons, it doesn't matter how you hold it with that controller, but as soon as a game requires more than that, and/or quick responses to move between D-pad/left analogue stuck, or buttons/right analogue stick, any controller becomes uncomfortable with a palm-based grip.

Finally! A microwave free gaming option! It's a pity it takes the likes of a third party developer to finally come to the table with a product like this, someone's finally thinking of the children!

  • Has anyone used these? Worth the price?

I’m just here to watch the PlayStation fanboys blow up at the (correct) assertion that the analog stick layout on their controllers is terrible.

    • Bwahahahaaaa!

PS: I’m no PS-only fanboy, having pretty much one of everything in my house!

I use the Dualshock 4 on my PS4, and an XBox One controller on my PC. I find both just as comfortable.

  • More interested with the underside buttons on these, for the price its alot cheaper than scuff. Also the XBOX layout, gotta agree its pretty good compared to the ds4. and as a PS4 player I wish we had an official elite controller already.

    • Well you can make an Xbox Elite controller work on a PS4 - it's not cheap but it is relatively easy using a Cronus Max, provided you don't mind using a wired connection rather than wireless.

I haven't done this on an PS4, but I do use this on my PS3 to allow me to play using an Xbox 360 controller. Works a charm - haven't had to use a DS3 for nearly a year now.
