10c cheaper from Wireless 1 for $179 Shipped. If you want the white variant, then that it is also cheaper at Umart for $169.
Just in case anyone was thinking of buying from Umart, it's going to be more expensive if you want it shipped ($183) whereas storedj has free shipping.
Great headphones, one annoyance is where the detachable cord meets the headphones, the jack is quite long and tilting your head to the left a little makes the plug poke you in the shoulder/neck (depending on how long your neck is), not so bad when sitting up, but flat out on a bed it can get annoying af.
You can fix that by replacing it presumably ..
the plug isn't a standard plug, but yeh probably, never got round to actually looking for a solution.

Good post, mate. This is about as cheap as these get, and Store DJ are pretty good to deal with. Great all round headphones, very popular, though not without a few haters within the audiophile community (which I suspect is mainly due to their popularity). I’ve got a set, and am happy with them.
M40X’s are down to $116.10, which is only about $7 more than the cheapest they’ve ever been posted here. Some people prefer the sound signature of the 40’s, they’re more neutral that the 50’s.
More neutral? M40x has more bass I think.

So good for the price! My only complaint is that the ear cups do heat up and make my ears uncomfortable after a while but YMMV
I bought these last time Store DJ had a sale on them, and very happy with them. Includes 3 cables and I use the "telephone cord" one which is short but has ability to stretch a bit.
Still waiting to drop to $150 level

and this is very old model how come price isnt down to $100 ????Mate, wired headphones aren’t like wireless/Bluetooth headphones. There’s not a refresh every year or two, the technology just doesn’t change that much (if at all). The M50X replaced the M50 in 2014. The M50 had been on shelves since 2007. Don’t expect a replacement to the M50X anytime soon. Look at the iconic Sennheiser HD600’s - released in 1997 and virtually unchanged.
Have the Limited Edition ones and been using them for 5 years. They're super good especially at the price I got them at however I would say the only issue I can see with these are potentially the ear muffs which many people just replace them. Great headphones!
