1 Month Free Trial with Netflix

2621

Netflix offers a 1 month free trial. Their normal rate starts at $9.99/month with a limit to 1 device per subscription. It goes up to $17.99 for their premium service with up to 4 devices that can play movies at the same time with ultra HD quality and more.

There are 3 types of subscription, basic, standard, and premium. You can try any of them for free. I am personally trying their premium service, as it is for free anyway. You will need your email address and credit card for the subscription(you won't get charged until your trial ends).

Bright is a new Netflix exclusive movie that you cannot watch in the Theaters. I have been on NETFLIX AU subscription before and used the free trial a couple of times. But the 1 month trial was there for me.

Free movie..

isn't everything on netflix "free" when you're on the trial?

      • +6

        lol

        • +9

          @Ryxxi:
lol i have access to it and chose not to watch it :D

        • +2

          @ideasman:

I might subscribe, just to get the chance not to watch it.

        • +3

@ideasman: Let me guess, you read reviews? Your loss as its a great movie.

        • +4

          @Ravensbane:
nah i just have no time to watch stuff. it has to be REALLY good for me to make time for.

        • +2

          @Ravensbane:

'great' isn't accurate. It's a movie, like white house down is a movie :)

        • +2

@ideasman: I had never heard of it before. It popped up and I watched it. I thought it was a good dumb action movie. It was only afterwards that I saw the hate. I think it was probably over hyped for a lot of people but if you have no expectations it's not terrible.

        • @Ryxxi:

          But they didn't….

    • +1

Exactly. What is this deal other than another way of saying free trial?

  • +2

Bright is a new Netflix exclusive movie

You mean the ''Worst movie of 2017' ?

    • +1

Not even remotely close. Seen few people actually hate on it, most really enjoy it.

    • +2

The truth is generally the opposite of what the "professional" critics state. I mean, these are the same critics who think that the Last Jedi is an excellent movie… They're not the brightest sparks out there, but I suppose that's why they review movies for a living.

      • +1

The truth is generally the opposite of what the "professional" critics state.

        generally? or sometimes?

      • There isn't much wrong with Last Jedi IMO other than the fact that an untrained person seems to go toe to toe with a Sith Lord, but I guess we are going to have to roll with that one (was the same in force awakens)

        • -1

If that's all you think was wrong with it maybe you fell asleep for the other 2h 30min of the movie…

        • @BexForHeadache: well no one I know has complained about it, and Kevin Smith seems to think it was good

  • +3

Seem to be available to all users

  • +1

    What's a theatre?

    • Place for medical procedures.

  • +12

This is not a deal its always been one month free, seems you are a fanboy of the movie 😂

    • -2

You don't get free month if you cancelled recently or you have subscribed previously do you ?

      • +3

God you sound like a broken record, you just use another email or create new ones if you want unlimited access. Seriously this deal is a flop

      • its 1 free month for all new users (technically, new credit cards)
always been like that - no deal. Same reason u dont see anyone posting first month free for stan either.

-OR- are you suggesting the free month is available to EVERYONE, even if you've registered before with the same CC?

    • +9

I don't understand all these Negative comments.

      This is a bargain website…

    • -1

The title for your deal is the trial: "1 Month Free Trial with Netflix".

It would be different if you had said something along the lines of "free Netflix-exclusive movie"…

      • It was originally, mod edited the deal to fit the guidelines

  • +2

You couldn't even be bothered posting the Australian prices…

    • -5

what prices lol ? its free, just remember to cancel sub..prices have always been the same. Since launch.

      • +2

prices have always been the same. Since launch.

        Yeah, nah.

      • Prices has risen a few times since netflix launched.

      • prices have always been the same since launch.

So you agree that this isn't a bargain then?

  • This is not a deal, it's always been like this

  • Netflix has always had a 1 month trial afaik

  • +1

This is not a bargain. Netflix has offered one month free trial since day one in Australia.

If they were offering discounted prices for subscribers, that would be a bargain.

This post just reads like an ad for Netflix and their latest movie.

The OP didn't even include their Australian prices in his post. Thanks to a mod for the edit.

  • +1

Where is the deal??? I can’t see it.

  • I'm so lost right now…

    • +1

      You're in Sydney.

    • "Attention all shoppers.
We have a husband lost, in the women's underwear department."

  • Nothing to see here.

The comment on the movie bright seems completely pointless.

Why not tell us to watch Stranger Things Season 2…..

  • -1

Netflix has lots of exclusive content, but the free trial is still a good deal.

    • +1

Yes but it's always free first month so there is no bargain here

  • Netflix has always been first month free

  • +1

This is misleading and not a deal - you can also torrent the film, would you consider that a bargain too?

  • has been here forever, non deal

  • +1

Not a deal, free Netflix trials have always been a thing. Trials are not bargains my friend, specially ones that are available 365 days a year.

  • This is not a deal, learn to find what is a deal before posting again.

  • Come on man…

  • +1

Is this some sort of weird marketing ploy by Netflix to promote Bright

    • Yea. This seriously seemed like astroturfing or sockpuppeting.

  • Always been like this lol

  • +2

Seems like OP was genuinely just trying to share something they thought was good, so for that, thanks dude.

But yeah, this trial is always available. I used it when they first got Netflix here, they've been sending me emails regularly since then offering me another trial and I still can't be bothered anyway.

    No deal dude, sorry.

  • One trick to get Netflix cheaper than the Oz price is to buy via Brazil and works out to about $15 a month for top package using a credit card like 28 degree. Will need to use VPN to subscribe then no need after.

  • First month is always free.

So I said "this is not a deal" and my neg was removed by my personal moderator!

Yet a lot of negs are still there. As this has happened to me several times, I would like to officially and publicly ask the Ozbargain.com.au owner to investigate and ask that very personal moderator to step down and be removed.
    Thanks a lot
    @Scotty
If you need an examples, look at the gun post the adler rifle or any other comment or negative vote that has been removed by this moderator.
Hope it is not Scotty himself which would be sad to see he manages a website like this by taking the matters personally.

    • Your comment above only contains 2 words "No deal", which is not a sufficient justification. Please see linked guidelines on negative votes. It was reported by 2 other OzBargain members and was removed by a moderator less than an hour later after the first report (on the Christmas Day).

      • +1

Yet the post by Mario1234 of "Come on man…" is OK??? Hilarious.

        • Mario1234 made 2 comments. One of them is valid. Moderators always check all the comments made by the negative voter before unpublishing.

        • @scotty: That's not the case either.
It also happened to me that I had two comments but my neg was also removed by one of them. These issues with the mods need to be addressed.

        • @pal: please provide example. I can assure you that ozbargain moderators spend a lot of time discussing negative votes and other users' reports against them. Moderation cannot be always consistently done because of various factors (context of the comment, deals in question, reports against them, past issues with the commenters etc). Please use TWAM forum if you have specific issues. However don't assume that it has not been addressed.

        • @scotty: Sure. Thank you Scotty

    • +3

This isn't Festivus and the airing of personal grievances 😂😂

    • +2

Member since 2013, still isn't aware that "not a deal" isn't a valid reason to neg.

      Wow

      • Feelsblike this OP is new to ozbargain.

        And

        Come on man

        Are valid reasons! Wow!
And still up. I legitimately felt the reason was mentioned enough which it is and my reasoning was better than many. So the mod couldn't come up with a clear vision that the post was not a legitimate deal! Like in a kindergarten with toddlers but we are grown up people!
At the end, the vote is not important but being bullied and treated unfairly is. When 85% of the community negged the deal, why picking on me? And if moderators have nothing else to do but being triggered and bullying members why not reducing them? If a mod creates more chaos than order they definitely are not made for the job.

Let me mention that this was not the first time but happened many times which I didn't bother before.
I think the best approach to a couple of childish reports would be to just let go, and not another childish decision.

  • -1

Sooking about your lame neg being removed. Sad days. You have a very Merry Christmas pal.

  • First month is always free. No deal

  • Lmao.. whats the deal?
    First month is always free

  • it's funny. No Deal

  • Negged because first month is always free. Not a deal.

  • HDR movies available here?

  • The guy gets negged because it''s not a deal yet people post about kfc 10 dollar popcorn which is considered a deal…

    • -1

That’s a limited time deal at KFC. This is Netflix’s every day available free trial for all new users. Not the same thing at all.

  • -1

Can you keep signing up with different email address or do they get you on the payment verification process or log ips? anyone cycle the trials like with youtube or spotify etc?

Paying for HD plan now but if I can get this for free by cycling email addresses with same IP I might try it but wont if it gets me ban

anyone have any information or first hand experience?
