No, I positively detest it. It is the one Islay that I cannot come at. The more $$$ Laphroaigs are pretty damn good - just not this one. Kissed one ashtray too many…
Prefer the relative balance of Talisker (eg.'Storm') and Ardbeg (eg.'Uigeadail') etc.
Incidentally, Talisker is a member special at Dan Murphy for January…
the 15 and 18 laphroaig I do like. The 10 much less. I think there are better wisky at $80
I also love ardberg 10 and Talisker. Laphroaig is more peaty and some don't like that, I love it. Anyway, you don't like it, that's fine as it leaves more for whisky lovers.
@OnlinePred: Lappy 10 has a calming, soothing effect that Talisker does not have. Is there a better whisky that's richer, fuller?

Consider your fellow ozbargainer by price matching if possible. Once stock from the original retailer is gone so are the price matching opportunities.

Great whisky, too expensive in Australia. Taobao has this whisky for <$40, if you are traveling to China.
