Norton Security Premium - 1 Year for 1 Device - $15 @ Harvey Norman (Normally $30 or More)

80

My First deal of the year.

Plenty in stock. Tried to match with Officeworks but was refused due to HN selling a BOX version and OW selling a card version of the SAME PRODUCT!. So was told its not the "Same product and can't be price matched" (11am). When I came home Officeworks as updated its prices (2.30pm

Other than that its a good deal for 15$ happy shopping and happy new year.

  • I honestly recommend against using Norton. It's essentially paying for malware which slows your computer down. There are much better alternatives, some even free.

While I would have agreed with you about 2 years ago. Its been much improved as of late.

    • Norton made me crazy. Uninstalled after a few days.

    • Name some please.

You can get ESET for 3 PC's for 1 year from saveonit for $13
ESET tests very highly, is very unobtrusive and resource efficient.

Also should mention they just email the product key to you, very convenient.

      • If you want something free, malwarebytes has a decent free version while also offering a premium edition

        • I thought Malwarebytes wasn't an antivirus?
I also thought the free version doesn't stay resident (you manually scan & clean as needed)?

Norton is actually one of the best out there. You can't keep trundling out that same old lie without doing some research first.

Well, try to find an VPN to china, then you can purchase Norton Security Premium 3 years for 5 device for about CNY 74 (less than AUD$15)

You didn't post any deals last year so you're off to a great start! I like Norton, it's very user friendly.

Compare the avg on benchmarking sites, ie below:

    eset
    norton

That site suggests eset slows your computer more than norton.

Use common sense and avoid shady sites. If you do shady / dumb things its just a matter of when not if you get malware.
