Free Growler Bottle (Glassware) with Every Fill @ Slipstream Brewing Co - Brisbane

380

Slipstream Brewing are a craft brewery in Yerongpilly Brisbane. (94 Wilkie St, Yeerongpilly 4105)

Today between 3pm - 6pm and tomorrow (26th Jan) between 12pm and 4pm they're giving away a free Growler bottle (approx 2L) with every fill.

Usually you either have to bring your own Growler bottle with you, or buy one for about $15 off them.

The beers they'll have available are:

  • Billy Cart Rye Pale Ale 3.4%
  • Yerongpils German Pilsner 4.5%
  • Magic Mile XPA 5.5%
  • G-Force IPA 6.5%
  • Peloton Hoppy Saison 4.9%
  • Zoobomb American Stout 4.7%

They don't appear to advertise the prices for each fill separately but from experience a Growler is about $20-25 for a fill, depending on the alcohol percentage.

So essentially instead of paying $25 for the beer + $15 for the Growler, you just pay $25 and get the Growler which is reusable for free.

My recommendation is the G-Force IPA. Very tasty and doesn't taste like it's 6.5%

Cheers and happy Australia Day!

Damn, exactly the wrong time to do the promotion, I'm in Sydney tomorrow and at work today. Great deal if you can get there though!

  • magic mile xpa is damn decent

  • Hmmm…I wasn't planning a trip down The Range this weekend but methinks I may have to reconsider. I like the sound of the Rye Pale Ale!

  • Growlers will last about a week unopened right? Then once opened only really a day or 2? Definitely planning on grabbing one of these thanks !

    • Yea spot on. I think they say 7 days on unopened and then within 24hrs after opening. Beer probs won't be stale if you leave it longer than that, but will be flat though.

  • G Force IPA is where it's at

  • This brewery also has a different food truck every day its open.
