Not to mention the bonus gaming controller is some random one.

    Are these official microsoft ones?

  • Shipping is $9.25 to a Sydney address.

I dont get the difference between the $55 and $69 packages - the $55 says it is "Wired or Wireless" whilst $69 includes an adapter? Or is the adapter a BT dongle or something?

    • Yeah, it is. Apart from wireless it adds a feature that I wouldn't have guessed was going to be so useful - you can plug your headphones into the controller. It's great for playing games on the couch late at night. I never found a good sale for the adapter and I ended up paying the full price of $30 so this does seem like a pretty good deal.

the one with the cable also has bluetooth and a headphone jack. the wireless adapter is really only if you want to use the controller with a PC that doesn't have bluetooth.

        • +1

Yes, that is a good point, my PC is old enough it doesn't have built in bluetooth. My understanding is though that the headphone feature only works through their adapter, not through regular bluetooth.

        • @littleannie: most PC's don't have built in Bluetooth???

  • Wierd Description you are right. Here is what I have got from their ebay Website about the 55 Dollars one ( on EBay its $78.95 btw)

Depending on how much you value the free controller, would eBay be an option at the moment with 20% off? $63.20 with free shipping/click and collect from JW computers

I always forget if it's Shopping Square or Shopping Express that I'm meant to avoid also!

  • Are these the official Xbox controllers from Microsoft?

    • +1

Yes, but not the bonus controller.

  • The one that comes with an adapter might be useful. But I wish you could drop the bonus controller for a discount. That thing looks worthless and won't be used.

I don't understand, the site says two different prices and I can't seem to get the advertised price in cart?

    • Same. Looks like a bait and switch or something. This is a pretty dodgy site, so hardly surprising.

I also wanted to buy this. The page still have the same advertising but on the bottom of the image it does say offer valid between 2/2/18 and 4/2/18 so this deal has expired.
