  • targeted :( "this offer is by invitation only"

    • Yeah I haven't got a single seller/insertion fee invite. Maybe I need to be inactive on ebay for like a year or something.

      • All my new accounts get it. Too bad nobody really wants to buy something from a user with hardly any feedback.

eBay CS told me this is definitely targeted. One must receive the holy email first , or the eBay gods will smite you with fees.

  • this offer doesn't apply to multi listings.

Create a template and list them as separate listings.

In the last 2 month's I've gotten rid of about $2800 worth of stuff taking up space around the house.

That has saved me about $280! (minus $1.10 for every item I've sold)
Doesn't sound like much until you realise the iPad you sold for $400 - they would of taken $40!

That's why most people use gumtree these days.

  • The offer doesn't apply to subsequent automatic relistings (if you check the free relist box). Customer Service was kind enough provide me a once-off credit when I got a shock from the bill this month, on items I listed using the offer, but sold on the relisted listing.

    • +1

Duh. It's always been like that. When it is automatically relisted, its obviously past the expiry date. Why wouldn't it be like that?

      • Auto relisted ones have been correctly free/discounted for me on other promotions in the past…. and I’ve taken up a lotttt of them.

It didn’t work once and they gave me a credit, so not sure if it works for some promos and not others. I don’t have knowledge of the eBay backend systems.

  • Not working now.

  • Didn't get the offer this week after receiving it for months
