      Razer Deathadder is great.

  • Any fridges?

    • With or without freezer attachment?

      • Looking for bottom/top mounted freezer/fridges around $900 with 4 energy rating.

Got sights on ones at my locals but they keep removing their deals of 10% off'ish.

  • +3

The only thing I've been watching has been removed by Catch from ebay. Frustrating.

  • +2

Steer clear away from Futu if you need something in the next week or so. Bought items from them on 22 Jan and still waiting for them now.

  • So tempted to buy the 6 Moet Champagne from Cellarmaster at 240 + 8 dollar delivery. Just not sure if I need 6 bottles … hahaha

    • Thats 6 yrs of St Val sorted

  • You reckon XPS will go on sale?

Can we all work together and let the greedygews price gouging that we are aware?

I think a couple hundred messages of "Will the price go back to normal after the 20% off sale?" Would suffice? Start posting eBay sellers names let the crucifixion begin!

    • +2

The eBay sellers couldn't care less about a few individuals on Ozbargain that acknowledge the price-jacks compared to the hundreds that blindly support and up-vote the deals.

If people are too scared to down-vote a deal, anything else is out of the question.

  • +1

I was stupid using my "awesome" 20% OFF on Zanui and now I want to buy something more expensive and I don't have 20% OFF. This one doesn't cover the item I want, unfortunately.

  • +1

    any Apple watch deal?Thanks.

  • +3

JW Computers thought their last price of $1698 wasn't enough for the ASUS ROG Strix GTX1080 Ti, so now it's been bumped up to $1,724!!!

    • +1

      Gotta mine those coins

      • +1

At that price and Australia's electricity costs it may not be worth it.

    • and I thought I got ripped with $1400 on launch.

  • +2

heh I was a looking at an AOC 40" monitor, it was $799 at 11am, just looked now and they've price jacked it to $888. Bloody criminal.

  • why do you all bother with this recent ebay shit?

edit oh I see the $300 headphones deal. I am now enlightened.

  • +17

Downvoting as I searched for a handful of items, all of which have been price jacked and still more expensive after the 20% discount than elsewhere online. These ebay sales are 99% trash.

    • lots are still waiting for that 1% i guess

  • Samsung J7 Pro for 300 dollars, amaysim, seems like a good phone and a great deal…

  • +1

can anyone remember a week where there is no sale on at ebay?

  • +2

Hisense 65N7 for $1651 delivered from Videopro if anyone is interested. It's not the cheapest price historically and also not as much as a savings as a few months ago since you can get them around 1750 any time, but still the cheapest I could find for one and will probably pull the trigger myself today.

  • -1

Any good deals for HP Spectre x360?

  • +11

LOL, this seller has left the old non jacked price in the description of the item. Usually $569, now $658 (15% increase):

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/APPLE-WATCH-42MM-SILVER-FOG-SP-B…

  • +1

Motherboard ,CPU and RAM package under $500 ?

  • Damn Lg V20 is still more than I'm willig to pay..$419.
Bring it under $400 and then we're talking.

  • Does anyone know how long Allphones takes to deliver to Metro areas (I'm in Sydney). I'm going o'seas and would like a ph before then. I suspect I'm out of luck.

    • My phone came after 3-4 days. I'm in Melbourne.

    • Hi luddy,

The guideline for Sydney is around 3-7 business days for standard post and 1-2 days for express. Thanks

      Note: I'm Associated with Allphones

    • Thanks, but i'm getting "One or more of the seller user IDs you entered was not found"…

    • Unfortunately it doest work. Nice try though.

  • +2

    Just a quick example

    Pcbyte store

    MSI GT72VR 7RE-610AU

    Price on website : $2,795.00

    Price on ebay : $3,399.00

    Savings what?

    A.. A ha….. AA HA HAAAAA!!!!

Sorry, I just couldn't stop myself from stupidly, dumbFd laughing.

  • Thanks, was shopping for a new TV and spotted this.

Picked up a Sony Bravia 65” KD65X9000E 4K HDR TV for $2600 delivered from VideoPro, $636 off is pretty decent.

    • The TV was only $2,316 in Dec 2017.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/349762.

I have been waiting for similar since then but no luck.

      • Most Tv's were a lot cheaper in December but that's all in the past and won't see similar prices for a while.

      • Yeh I would normally wait to buy, but my main 58" Samsung from 2010 died a few days ago. Need to get something pretty soon, so don't have time to wait for those one off sales.

I actually posted hoping people would advise of their better deals, so I can see where this stands in relation. Always nice to know. Thanks!

  • Pretty close to buying the Google Pixel 2 ($877 after discount) but just wanted to confirm that All-phones Online is a safe place to buy? The reviews are very promising but I still get a little worried buying things like this online. Cheapest price I've seen on the phone since I've been looking to buy over the past month or so.

    • +1

      Hi tobyjc3

Allphones is a safe place to buy, we currently have a 99.8% positive feedback rating on eBay. We also run regular deals on ozbargain, here is the Allphones store page. If you have any other concerns, please do not hesistate to contact me. Thanks

      Note: I'm Associated with Allphones

  • +2

I'd like to try my Ausluck to Catch a Crazy good bargain, maybe something From China With Love or something Hardtofind, so please Think Of Us before you price jack. Thankyou (, OzBargain) Group

    • You are so so sad, but managed to get a +1 out of me.

      • +1

        Haha.. was a slow day…

  • eBay link has a 'liquor' box with a picture showing JW Black label but no Black label for sale. This deal did nothing for me.

  • Does anyone know if during these ebay sales, do big retailers (like Bing Lee, Good Guys etc) price match the 20% ebay discount in their physical stores? I would much prefer to pay in cash over buying on Ebay.

Has anyone ever tried asking? Cheers.

    • +2

Bricks and Mortar shops stay clear from Ebay deals. Ive tried JB, Officeworks and Centrecom. All declined and said bugger off.

  • I was about to pull the trigger and buy some parts from PCCaseGear last night but hesitated and went to bed. Even with the higher prices, I can still save around $100 or so if I buy some parts from Ebay. So it's not all bad, but it's still annoying.

  • +3

    The name's Jack… Price Jack.

  • No price jacks from DCXPERT, still at RRP, I managed to pick up some DJI goggles, with TRS should make for a pretty decent deal. Thanks OP

  • UniFi prices look decent

    ap ac pro @ $172
    Us-24-250w @ $537
    Cloud key @ $105

  • any recommendation for 22-23" monitor for home office? Budget is < $250

  • I keep checking these for a nintendo switch :(

  • My wife would really love a PS4 for valentines.

    😉

    Dammit, none on this sale.

  • Sorry for the noob question, but how do I go about researching a particular item to see if the price was jacked for this sale or not? thanks

    • Click on the 'sold' button to see if the price was jacked.
You can also look at revisions for the item…. further down near the description but it wont show you the actual price change.

Good shopping is knowing the price of the item BEFORE the sale…. good practice not to buy stuff just because it is on 'sale'.

  • For those who like body shop, this is a great price for $31.20, $8.95 postage though unless you spend $100 before discount

I bought 1 for myself and 2 for presents

The body butter itself retails for $25

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122391588231

  • Prices jacked on drones, and no local listings for Mavic Air Fly More.

  • +2

    Price jacking happening again.

  • any good mechanical cherry brown deals for typing/home office?

  • +3

Is there any point to posting these anymore? Does anyone actually get a non price jacked deal?

  • +2

Can these blanket discount posts please be moved to the forums from now on? Save the bargain section for actual bargains

    • No, forums are for discussion topics. Deals section are for deals. (and comps in comps, classifieds…etc.) If you don't wish to see eBay deals (or any other store), you may block them by hitting the hide link at the top of the deal.

      hide

Also, please make sure your votes conforms to the voting guidelines. Thanks.

      • +1

Is there a reason why moderators are not subject to the same comment voting system as the general public?

        • We only switch on the tag when it's a moderation related message that should always be visible (e.g. can't vote against it thus hiding). I've switched it off for this message.

        • @neil:

That makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

  • Looking for Samsung 1TB SSD & 128gb Evo plus , please share if you come across these in your searches. Thanks

    • Do you mean the first results when you search on the link and filter to "Computers, Tablets and Network Hardware"?

  • Oh the irony Harvey Norman has the kd65x9000e for $3095 versus the price jacked video pro at $3182. How do we find out an items price history?

Do not buy from "24-Hour Nutrition", they have pushed me around since last 31.01.18!

1 - Purchased two products, no communication and I get an e-bay message stating they tried to contact me on the phone numbers provided, which was unable to reach me. I checked my paypal and eBay numbers and it's all correct. I never had an eBay member that didn't get through, to me they are lying they tried to call me.

2 - I called them regarding my order on 05.02.18, and they advised X product is out of stock. Fair enough, so I got the alternate flavour. They said it will be changed and posted out the following day. Fair enough right? Nope, nothing sent out, get another eBay message stating they tried to call me today, 07.02.18!! BS!

3 - Called them back asap and the SAME REP picked up the phone, Britney, she stated the flavour I ordered will be in-stock tomorrow tomorrow and they can send out the order. I said: "why didn't you send out the alternate flavour we agreed last Monday?" She didn't have an answer for it. So I just said, I'll wait for the flavour I wanted.

WASTE OF TIME, inflated prices and poor comms. Only purchased from them because the 20% turned out to be cheaper from the regular supplement stores I purchase from.

  • -2

And my negative vote just got revoked. Just keep on voting positive and nobody will question price jacking and think these ebay campaigns are real bargains ;)

  • Any deal on printer?

  • Any good search link please?

Does anyone know if it's possible to pay using AMEX?

    • +1

put your amex card on paypal and checkout using paypal

      • -1

I did that and it keeps asking me to check the card details over and over again.

  • Any Apple USC-C to Lightning cables?
