Cannondale CAADX Bargains eg 2017 Tiagra $1,529 from $1,799 @ Bike Exchange

30

Seems that the CAADX range is not selling so well, so the distributor, Monza, is clearing some out.

My suggestion is Bicycle Garage in Leichhardt NSW if you are anywhere local: great service!

BikeExchange has some other examples.

Do you work at Bicycle Garage?

    That's only 10% off for a 2017 bike.
    Not much discount at all.

Choose a different bike and you get more discount - just have a look at the other 'dales on sale from the same seller.
Supersix Evo disc is 20% off

Other brands get up to 30 or 40% off.

Hang your head in ozbargain shame… lol

  • Yep Pushy has 2017 bianchi impulso for 40% of rrp.
There is a non disc version for the same price.

The impulso has better spec too. Just not a cyclocross bike if that’s what you want.

    • bianchi is $1300 and has 105 on it, only 1 size left but you get the trend …. trend analysis isn't the exclusive of bit coin traders and stock market traders.

  • 10% isn't what I call an impulse buy discount, price might be why it's not selling well, synapse and CADDX are great all round bikes (cyclocross, gravel grindser, etc) , but lots of bikes now with discs and tiagara at lower price.

When I looked at the synapse 2016 in mid 2017 (yes disc version), it was 30% off ….in a couple of months I'd expect a 2017 bike to be 30% off min as 2018 models are announced.

I guess bikeexchnage is for bikes like what staticice is for computers ….

  • No bargain here lads, move on.

  • Agreed. Not much of a bargain.

  • Can someone explain why does that cost $1500? Not say $800 (like Reid Granite 2.0)?
    I'm newbie in road bikes.

    • Well cannondale is a prestigious brand for one. The Reid is also running a spec (Claris) below this cannondale, (Tiagra).

    • +1

As Jake has said above, componentry makes a massive difference in price.

Also Reid are a lot cheaper as they kind of do their own sourcing for 'mass produced' frames, whereas much more quality control (tighter welds, etc) and engineering have gone into the reputable brands like Cannondale. So it's pretty much a 'get what you pay for' situation. Not to say that the Reids aren't great value for money. I have 3 bikes, one is a Reid.

    • If you don't want a cyclocross bike then Pushy is selling last years model of the Bianchi Impulso for $1299.geometry.

Bianchi is also a prestigious brand and it has specs higher then the cannondale with a mostly Shimano 105 groupset. I own a disc version but Pushy only has that in 57cm. I am 100kg and even with the bikes narrow 25mm tyres it has been a comfortable ride. This is because the Impulso has a more relaxed ride

      • Looks good, but I want that with hydraulic disc brakes…

        • Well there is only the disc version in 57cm.

I am not sure that mechanical (as the impulse is) discs that much better than calliper brakes. Discs are harder to setup with out rubbing than caliper.

        • @Jake Elwood: fair enough. I've got a Merida with hydraulic discs, but it's a commuter. Brakes work great though.
