I wasn't convinced spending the extra $200 at the time š I know the difference was better Hz but I wasn't fussed I'm pleased :)

I've noticed that Hisense have risen in popularity quite considerably over the last few years. Might have been something to do with their marketing team misleadingly calling their new TVs 'ULED' like it's a new technology when its really just another LCD. As Hisense grows in popularity, they keep increasing their prices. Nowadays you can get a Sony or Samsung with superior processing, input lag and operating system for around $100 more. Why would someone choose this instead? I don't get it.

I went from a 10yr old Samsung plasma to the 55N6 ! Purely picked it due to price ! 3yr standard warranty! Heck even the Sony brands only come 12month!
While I was shopping around before buying a 55N7 from Hisense and comparing it to the "Main" brands like Sony, Panasonic or Samsung (didn't check LG), Hisense and actually even TCL manage to provide 3 years warranty compared to just one year. This longer warranty shows (at least to me) that Hisense expect their TV to last longer.
I'm keen to know which ones.
I'm looking for a 4k TV with HDR and low input lag - can you point me in the direction of the Sammy/Sony that is better than the 55N7?

Works out about the same price if you take the free $100 gift card into consideration. Sony don't have the lowest input lag but I can guarantee it's going to be better than Hisense.
Damn my 55N7 is still scheduled to ship from videopro in something like 2 weeks. ($1001 incl shipping) I Wonder if I can cancel and order from TGG…

No, wait for the deals on the Series 9. It will be a better tv yet again.
