  This is a woeful port of Duke Nukem 3D - the controls are dreadful. However for free, you certainly can't complain!

  The original game is still there though, and is still amazing, and if you can get past the awkward controls, it's still there in all its original glory.

  Got this a while back when it was free. It's just a terrible, terrible game. The controls are so annoying. A pity, because the original is one of my fave games ever.

  I haven’t seen a FPS game work well on the iphone. You’ll delete it after 15 minutes

  One thing I found that made the game control much easier was to switch the controls to the "digital" mode.

  Of course, then you're tapping each time you want to make a movement, but at least that way you can actually do something without walking into a wall/looking at the floor. Still frustrating as hell though.

  I actually played through one of the full episodes this way. I must be a machocist.

  FPS generally don't transfer well to the iPhone, but this game really doesn't have an excuse when you put it against the ports of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom Classic, both with handle excellently given the limitations.
