    for 88.88, i tripled checked that it is not a 201000mAh PowerBank….

    • Yet every other store in Australia managed to sell this product at more than $88.88 :-)

You can buy a 50Ah car starter power bank for cheaper than this.

    • +1

And how is that anything but a bad thing? Any sane person would rather carry this around in their bag than lug a car battery.

      • The point is car starters are a more expensive item than a power bank.. but not this one.

Also I keep a power bank in the car. At that price, I'll just use the car starter.

    Glad I got the Xiaomi

  • Good brand, price is right. Very tempted…

  • So, is this actually discounted discounted? or is it just cheapest price so far.

If it's the latter, I think I'll wait until I've saved up some.

    • We've never sold this product at any lower price — $88.88 was in fact the pre-order price. We have 50 units set aside for this deal but we may or may not run out in a few days.

    Cheaper on ebay
72.35AUD plus 10% off with coupon PRONTO = 65.11 (min 75 spend, so just buy something extra for 3 dollars)

    https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Anker-PowerCore-20100-Mobile-Batte…

    Cheaper at eglobaldigitalcameras:
    64.00 plus 19.00 shipping = 83AUD

    https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/anker-powercore-201…

    Alternatives:
    Dick smith 89.00 shipped
    Kogan 89.00 shipped

Not the same product. One is the Powercore and the other is 'Powercore+,' though I cbf looking up the model difference

      • Yep my mistake except the eglobal link. Eglobal looks to be Powercore+, same product and cheaper than the OPs link. Links below.

You're right, my mistake for the ebay and Kogan/DSE link.

The eglobal link is the Powercore+ though, and cheaper for 83.00 AUD delivered

    https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/anker-powercore-201…

    Ebay has the Powercore+ for 95aud - 10% PRONTO delivered = 85.50

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Anker-PowerCore-20100-USB-C-Type…

    Both cheaper than OPs deal

    • Estimated delivery on cablegeek deal: Tuesday, February 20 - Thursday, February 22

Estimated delivery on the eBay deal: 15 Mar - 13 Apr

So save $3.38 but get it delivered 3-4 weeks later?

      Eglobal link doesn't work.

    Anker > Xiaomi tho

    • 40$ better though?

      • I dunno, ask people that buy iphones and galaxys instead of mis

    • $Anker > $Xiaomi tho

      FTFY.

Also, ZMI 10 has USD-C PD. And it’s cheaper.

      • Where can you get the ZMI 10 at the moment? I've been looking everywhere nobody is shipping to Aus.

        • I don’t know, I got mine before all the issues started happening…hopefully that gets resolved, and the usual sellers start shipping them again.

There is a seller on AliExpress that will ship to Australia. Maybe try them.

      • The ZMI 10 is only really ~12000mAH @ 5V though. This is actually ~20000mAH @ 5V.

        • This is actually ~20000mAH @ 5V

          Are you sure about that?

In my very quick search, I couldn't find any confirmation that the PowerCore+ is 20100mAh rated at 5V.

I DID find specs for the PowerCore 20100 (non plus), which lists it as "Capacity :20100 mAh / 74.37 wh" - 74.37wh is 20100mAh at 3.7V. I highly doubt Anker would classify one version using 3.7V rating, and one version using 5V rating. It is much more likely that the actual cells are exactly the same in the two models.

By comparison ZMI10 is rated at 72wh. Close enough.

If you are correct, and the PowerCore+ is 20000mAh at 5V, then fair enough, that is a significant difference. (Pretty sure you are not correct, though!) ;)

        • @caprimulgus: Hmm you may be right. Taking into account aviation laws it would also exceed the 100WH maximum rating for external batteries if it was 20000mAH @ 5V (although only by 500mAH).

  • Rep, do you know of any power banks with usb c pd supporting 30w+?
There is a cygnett pro but that's the only one I'm aware of and it's exxy.

ZMI 10 (QB-820), if you can get one shipped (see comments above).

It’s usually listed as Xiaomi ZMI (ZMI is a subsidiary of Xiaomi).
