I have bought these before and would NOT recommend them. They are light and flimsy and very unreliable. Shame really

    • Same

    • I also have bought one of these. Light, flimsy yes but seems to work OK. Not sure what you are expecting for $0.74 ?

    • They also aren't bright enough for most of the uses. Would only be of any use in complete darkness and small spaces.

      • Any good for car back seat, so my kid in baby seat is visible at night?

        • I'd say so. I have used one and it seems plenty bright enough for your needs. You might want to even cover it with some red-coloured cellophane to reduce brightness to help minimise night blindness.

  • Sensor

    Where is this mythical sensor?

    • Should it be censor?

Just not in the workplace or parliament?

"Touch Sensor" you push it, it turns on. Sometimes called a switch.

That's what I thought these had too, not actual touch sensors lol.

Can't believe they didn't follow the other mob and call it "wireless" too cos it ran on batteries instead of mains.

  • Might be common knowledge, but it's probably worth noting you can only buy one item at that price. Signed up hoping to buy a few, but discount only worked if I had a single one in my cart

    • Sorry about that. Yes offer is limited to one per customer. Updated in the description. Cheers

      • np - still worth the signup, just thought I'd mention it. Thanks for posting though! :)

  • I bought 5 of these from someone a while ago … threw the lot of them in the bin.

  • Otherwise they are good for purpose. But 3 AAA batteries are too much for this.

  • Any thoughts about putting one of these in a fridge (about 450L I think) as a replacement for a missing light that I can't replace? I'm aware it means manually switching it on and off.

    • I might try this too.
Wonder if the tape on the back will stick for long in the moist environment of a fridge. 3 batteries would increase the weight too. Can't go too wrong for 75c

  • Can confirm low quality, opened one yesterday and had to bin it.
Put in 3 AAAs, pressed it, and the light flickered and died.
Shame, as the other little trinkets from Zapals are usually at least functional.

I'm starting to suspect that these 'freeforall' deals are sometimes for products that suffer from reliability issues and would otherwise be binned. I still buy them though.

  • Can anyone recommend a similar light suitable to sit over a bbq?

  • They have these at IKEA for 2.99 and much better quality

  • Has anyone received theirs yet?
