[StartHere] PayPal cash out

I understand you do not payout to PayPal if we have a balance of over $50.

What happens if we don't want to cash out to a bank account. Cause I'm planning on making an order that will give me a cashback of more than $50 and wish to take it out by PayPal.

  • I think your options are pretty much limited to transfering it to a bank account, spending it on something else, or just keep it for a rainy day. You can also transfer the balance to someone else too, which didn't incur fees on either end last time I used that option.

    • You can transfer balances?
      How?

Might transfer to an empty account then back once I cashout the first $50.
Then transfer back to avoid the annual fee.

      • You can send the balance to someone elses PayPal account by choosing:

        Send Money
        Select the Personal Tab
        Select Gift
Fill in email address and amount

It states in the Fees section that personal payments are:
"Free when the full amount comes from PayPal balance or bank account".

I think the only way to get CASH is to transfer it to your bank account which generally takes two nights. I try to avoid having a running balance as usually when I leave credit in my PayPal account I fritter it away on little purchases.

ETA: OK, I think there is some confusion. I now realise you're talking about MoneyBackCo and I am talking about PayPal withdrawals which are two completely different things. :S

        • yeah oh well looks like i'll have to mess around with me bank account on moneybackco now…

  • Hi Trance,

Unfortunately we had to introduce the $50 PayPal limit due to activities from members outside of Australia which jeopardised our business a while ago.

Requiring members to providing bank details in the only way we can (almost) ensure that members are resident within Australia, and even then we realise there are ways around it but it becomes less worthwhile for scammers, which is pretty much the point.

    Sorry, Steve.
