Hey OP, someone took the key without saying thank you just to let you know :(

      Welcome to OzPrick :'(

  • +12

    Will skip this month again

    • -2

      Yep

      • +8

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided & Mafia 3 are decent games for $12USD

        • +2

However I've got them both, so no point me getting them.

Mafia 3 wasn't well received due to bugs and people finding it boring.

Hardly either are standouts in gaming, if you love gaming you'd know there is better games to spend your time and money on, if you are only casual there are definately better games to play. Other months have had some stand out games in their genre but this month doesn't. I'd place Dishonoured and Dishonoured 2, Prey and Deus Ex Human Revolution as similar games and better than DE:MD that is available for 6 USD anyway.

        • +3

TBH DXMD is very boring and Mafia 3 has terrible physics although the racism is a standout.

        • @Diji1: Stand out racism? I'm installing Mafia 3 right now!

        • +4

I thought Mankind Divided was pretty disappointing, because I really liked Human Revolution.

    • Average titles this month so will be skipping too

  • +7

God Eater 2:Rage Burst also includes the first game God Eater:Resurrection so this means it is actually 4 games for early unlock.

  • +10

Deus Ex MD is actually $5.99 USD on Steam.

    • +1

Thats a sale price though, so only for a short time.

      • -1

        so?

        • Its not the standard price. So if someone just read your comment they might assume its standard. Its less about informing you, more about informing others.

Just in case someone assume standard pricing and wanted to grab later down the line by itself and failed to recognize before it goes off sale.

  • +1

It used to only be 1 early unlock, getting more and more each month. Does anyone know if they publish stats for how many monthly subscribers? Be interesting to see if they have been slumping and this is a tactic lure more people in

    • +1

Almost feels like they are compensating for lower value games

    • -1

      I feel that way too.

    • -1

It seems they been doing that since IGN purchased Humble Bundle.

      • +2

Yeah, since then I split the money usually like 80-20 Charity-devs.

I really dislike that they took away the ability for us to choose which charity. I'm a big fan of MSF; I don't want to support ridiculously unrelated-to-my-country causes like an organisation to uphold the US constitutional values in government.

  • +4

Not a terrible bundle, but no where near as good as last month

    • Dark Souls instantly gets -100 value for me. I just don't get that game and its following.

      • -1

Yeah, just a critically acclaimed franchise thats sold millions of copies.

you don't have to like the game, but god knows how its hard to understand why its a much loved franchise

        • -2

Cool bro. Opinions, let's downvote them because they offend us so, eh?

You haven't explained why you like it, just remarked "ISN'T IT OBVIOUS, STUPID!?"

Clearly not for me…feel free to try to explain.

        • -1

Did I not tell you its fine if you don't like it?

Theres a difference between not liking someone, and thinking its objectively bad. But you are probably not mature enough to realise theres a difference.

        • +1

@Pacify: god knows how its hard to understand why its a much loved franchise

You're really taking it personally that I dislike a game that apparently means so much to you, aren't you?

      • +2

Its different, challenging, lets you figure out things on your own, the maps really well put together and its full of great lore which puts together a very interesting story.

        • -4

See now, I see what's claimed to be "challenging" as just buggy design made into a genre and passed off as intentional.

I can appreciate the lore side of things though.

        • +1

@The Gent: How is it buggy design? Which part is buggy?

        • +1

          @The Gent:

          Ahah, calling Dark souls buggy.

          How deluded are you?

        • -1

@ScruffTheJanitor: "Clunky" and "unpolished" may have been a better choice of words, but buggy fits too - going for a ladder and falling to your death, getting stuck on obstacles during battles, various instances of falling through the maps etc.

These are all documented/known to the community, no big surprises here.

        • +1

@Pacify: I'm sorry that you disagree.

          Have a nice day, now.

      • -1

Yeah Dark souls is boring, I rather read Berserk for my fill of the gore/action genre

  • -1

So tempted…Around $5 AUD for each game. Even if they're not perfect I'd say I will get more enjoyment out of the 3 of them than any other $5 games.

On the other hand, HB's statement "Get over $100 in games…" means that there won't be much change left for any other games in the pack as these 3 will chew up most of this $100.

    Decisions, decisions…

    • +1

Over $ 100 could mean $200, $300, $400, $500 - I think you get the idea. I think you should view $100 as the minimum bundle value.
Maybe some more amazing, expensive games coming up - who knows?!

      • +2

I've never seen it up at $500 MSRP. Usually it's around $200 MSRP plus or minus 10%. They always list the past 3 months at the bottom of the page …

        $179.92 - March '18
        $179.91 - Feb '18
        $199.92 - Jan '18

Their selection is always diverse and top notch. I always seem to find one or two worthwhile indies. Can't say the same for my PSN and Xbox live subscriptions. So I buy in even if the triple A titles look a bit meh (like this month).

        • +1

It's just depend on the selection of genres that you like. I pretty much subscribed to all the monthly after IGN took over Humble which I only subscribed twice in the past.

        • +1

Thanks to all who's maths/logic is better than mine.

  • +1

Is Mafia 3 $12 of fun?

    • -2

Steam has it for 6 if you don't want the other games.

      • +1

        I don't see it for 6…?

        • +2

Sorry must have got it confused with Deux ex.

      • even Gxx has it for around $7~8 and not include the Mafia III: Sign of the Times DLC.

    • I think so. Repetitive storyline / missions, but for $12 I think it's worth it. Great open city and excellent graphics IMO. I've had no performance issues on my old i5-2500k rig..
