Free delivery as well, I notice. Looks like a good alternative to the expensive light-weight docking stations with tiny speakers.

    • I don't see free delivery this morning - it's quoting $7.50 to Sydney CBD

    • no free delivery

  • good find mate - anyone know if it's iphone 3gs compatible?

    • nvm, answer to my question is yes, charges and plays music from the iphone: http://reviews.argos.co.uk/1493-en_gb/5136694/reviews.htm

hmm a real competitor for the logitech purefi dream but at half the price!

      • I'm not so sure it's a serious competitor.

        The Philips one has 2 x 1.5W RMS. The Pure-Fi Dream is 2 x 40W RMS.

Which isn't as massive a difference as it looks since in RMS wattage 10W is only double the loudness of 1W, but it's still about an extra 125% louder by the specs.

  • Anyone know if it is also possible to connect the dock speakers to my laptop?

    • According to the user manual is has a 3.5mm auxilary input. So yeah, a simple 3.5mm—>3.5mm male-male cord would allow your laptop to output to it.

  • Any models which take a USB stick?
