    It's mainly online against other people, just random people….. Or you can team up with friends.

    I just played on my own online and it was great.

    Do you have to have Xbox live subscription to purchase? I am keen to purchase for my son for single player but don't have a live subscription and not really thinking of getting one.

      you don't need live to buy it but you do need gold if you playing multiplayer

    Its great. I have it on ps4, pc, Xbo and the Switch. Started off with a free copy on the ps4, tried it and didn't like it (wasn't computing how to time air balls). Didn't play it for months…. got it for free on the Xbox (came with a gold subscription) - started playing it and became addicted.

    Soon got it on pc and had to get it on the Switch when it was released. The hand held nature of the Switch suits me the most for whatever reason I'm nailing shots I would time wrong on the other platforms. That said I've spent the most time on the Xbox…. slowly improving my winning percentage (recently went from just over 50 to 61%) and goals per game, assists and saves.

    I say buy it as its just as if not more addictive than fifa.
