Thanks have updated description
whats the difference?
One emits UV light.
thanks for reply, looked it up before
just want the normal s2+ everyone on here buys
I might add, AUD 11.57 for the UV Nichia version wld be a decent price :)
Does this have real lumens or Chinese lumens?
Pretty sure this is real lumens.
I have one from a previous deal (different seller so you never really can be sure) but they are great torches for this price. I have no idea if it's actually that many lumens, it's a lot brighter than the random chinese ones I've bought in the past.
What's the deal with the modes (ie. are there two different types of torches, or do you switch between two 'sets'?). Also, is this torch 'zoomable'? I have zoom function on another high-powered torch, at first I thought it was pointless, but has actually come in handy a number of times.
There is a little "hiccup" about five seconds in that lets you half-press to change between the groups. No zoom. It will have a fairly strong hotspot, but depending on whether the reflector is smooth or orange peel, the spill or hotspot will be stronger. Also it takes a li-ion cell. You need a whole charging setup.
Thanks a lot for the detailed reply. I do have a couple of 18650's with charger, so always on the lookout for a good spare torch.
Has anyone received theirs yet? Shipping was estimated at 25 business days so just wondering if I am being too impatient
Might be a mistake here I think. The torch in the link doesnt seem to be for the UV version.
