Recently purchased the Avvolta 2 Slice Toaster from the Good Guys for around $74.00 and to be honest have found it to be quite disappointing. So much so that I have gone back to using my old Breville.
A few things to be aware of.
There is no lift and look feature or any visual indicator to show how much more cooking time is left - which means that you have to stop the toasting cycle if you want to check and see how well cooked the toast is.
There is no crumpet function - for those who like the option to turn off one side of the element to prevent the bottom of the crumpets from overcooking.
Power cord isn't very long.
