  Note that the US version should not be used outside the United States. At the moment, UniFi Controller merely displays a "incompatible country" warning if you have US-version devices and your site location is outside US, but their staff have indicated that they may completely forbid such devices in future releases. I don't think the savings are worth the risk of them turning into expensive paperweights at some point.

  Was all ready to jump in on Ubiquiti, but constant 70 degree switches on the passive models is just a bit too much for my liking. No probs just running AP's though, very well regarded.

    PROs are always proper 802.3af.
    All new APs are 802.3af as well - they finally decided to ditch awkward passive 24V.

      Yeah heard about that, twas a good move. So many pissed off ppl who bought the 60w switch and then found out they couldn't power their LR's etc.
