    All the deals

    "The headline acts:
    100/40 1000GB $70/month
    50/20 1000GB $60/month
    25/5 1000GB $50/month"

    • woah the whirlpool has
"The $49 setup fee will be automatically credited back to account balance and available to use in future month charges, not refundable as cash."
so technically a better deal than this $25 credit?

      • Yeah seems like a better deal

    • yup, these are the better deals IMHO, should have been posted above

shame that the credit refund doesn't apply to plan changes, only to new accounts

  • If I get rubbish adsl speeds, will I get rubbish NBN? My adsl won't go over 300kbyte/s

I think the copper in my house is an issue (there's about 6 phone ports spliced in), or perhaps I'm miles from the node. How can I check these things?

    • the nbn guarantees 12/1 as a minimum so if you come across to nbn and aren't getting at least that we can get your wiring looked at

      • Will i get the 12/1 connection speed nbnco guarantee and corresponding actual raw fair dinkum downloads 24/7/365 without fail?

In house wiring is near new from actual existing telco socket.

Dunno much about NBN but my DSL is not great, but it is constant.

        822 metres from my node.

        Thank you

Do you know what connection type is on offer at your premises?

I was on the worlds worst copper ADSL for many years here (300kbps max too), switched to NBN on a HFC connection and now getting > 90Mbps.

If you're on HFC or fibre to the premises then you can expect similar I assume.

  • How long will it take to shift from Teleron to Telecube once i place an order? Also can you waive off the setup fees?

    • for me, signup lunch time, connection swapped around 4pm on the same day..

      • Similar with me, 2-3 hours from memory which is exceptional service. I was on the last few days with Internode, activated on another UNID port… So fast, any faster would be clicking order and see the light come up!

    • Normally a few hours to churn across and within 24

We're giving you $25 credit back as part of the offer.

  • Hi OP, can I use with sagemcom f@st 3864?
    Thank you

  • I have a Question

I am still under contract with iiNet until November this year, how do I go about changing my ISP to Telecube ? I am willing to break my contract with my
current ISP that's not a problem.

    Thank you.

    • From my experience transferring from Aussie Broadband to Telecube, I just signed up online with Telecube and my existing service was cut off an hour or so later, with Telecube's service available next morning.

Afterwards, you'll need to call your existing provider to see what you can negotiate with regard to early exit from your no longer wanted contract.

  • Hi mate ,

I've signed up with an offer which got expired 13th March ..i have an active NBN service..but i got an email saying that there will be an installation done next week ..can you help me on this..

    • Can I ask which was your previous ISP? Or you still with them not yet cancelled? Is it HFC connection?

My current ISP is ABB (HFC), TC support team said I have to fully cancelled then they can start to order new service.

And saw a message above from Rep, it will take from 2 days to 2 weeks! ! OMG! !

      • im with TPG FTTB now..but what i was told ,still the installation to be done since my unit is not yet on NBN..not sure why i was told it was NBN by TPG.

  • Hi rep, how long does it take to transfer from Amaysim to you guys? Can I keep my amaysim subscription active till the switch over takes place?
    Thank you

    • +1

it depends on your tech type .. anything except HFC yes.

  • Hey Rep I am currently with Belong NBN lines. How long will it take to roll over and the same modem will be used? Thanks

    • As long as you're not on HFC within 24 hours to change over, can't guarantee you can use the same modem but if you can log into it and change it to PPPoE and disable VLAN it should be possible to use it.

Why is it on 25/5 when the wholesale price from nbn for 50/20 is the same as 25/5, with extra bundled CVC included for 50/20.

No deal unless you get 50/20 for the same price.

TPG longer sell 25/5 because of this.
They are upgrading their existing customers for free to 50/20.
Telstra only have one base plan as 25/5, no 12/1's anymore. The rest of the plans are min. 50/20

      grabs popcorn

    • *TPG no longer sell

    • +1

the nbnco 50/20 for the same price is a short term offer ending soon and then everyone sucked in to the lower price has to pay the full 50/20 price because they switched .. not my idea of a good deal.

  • I just signed up and have been provisioned, but I'm having difficulty connecting my internet. Can anyone help me out with the modem config? I'm using a NetComm NF8AC, which is meant to be NBN ready. It doesn't have VDSL2 as far as I know, but I'm currently on FttP… Do I need another modem/router?

    • NetComm NF8AC does have VDSL2, but you don't need it for FTTP
      https://www.netcommwireless.com/product/vdsl-adsl-ac1600-wif…

You can use it in Router mode by connecting the NBN box to the WAN port on the NF8AC. Service type is 'PPPoE' and you need to enter your username & password from your account portal (go to Services > Manage > PPPOE Auth Details).

      • Hey 1bug thanks for the info. I went to basic setup > VDSL -> PPPoE -> No VLAN tag -> Entered the username and password from my account portal -> Finish.

I still can't connect; and my modem's "Internet" light isn't lit. How long typically would it take after doing the above steps until I'm connected? Should I factory reset?

        • +2

Looking at the User guide, it looks like you need to bypass both ADSL and VDSL (you need Ethernet WAN with PPPoE instead).

I found an FAQ guide you can use — go to link below and look for "NF8AC - Ethernet WAN Setup Guide" and download it…
          https://support.netcommwireless.com/product/nf8ac#Firmware

It's probably a good idea to factory reset the router (and upgrade the firmware if not on the latest firmware).

        • @1bug: Works now, thanks! I needed to change to Ethernet WAN instead of VDSL, and everything worked fine.

  • OP, can you please confirm this deal applies to Telecube plan changes too?

Ive moved to Telecube a few months ago on a $59 1TB plan, but the $45/ 500GB would suit me much better.

    • if you have previously paid a setup fee you won't need to pay it again

  • I got this service and had it for about 2 weeks. Cannot fault it. Getting 43/22 FTTN.

Email support was really good, but last few days have been no reply. I heard on WP that it was due to a mass influx of customers and other stuff.

I am having trouble accessing Plex and WOL WAN outside of my network. I believe it is due to Double NAT.

I suspect I need a fixed IP address will this solve the issue?

I am also looking at getting a phone service, I have a Gateway Max 2 router and would need all the settings, I will be SSHing and changing the settings

    • +2

you can select dynamic ipv4 in the portal at no charge

for info on how to setup voip please take a look at the wiki http://wiki.telecube.com.au

      • That worked a treat, right out of the box. Thanks.

Now I will try to get Ipv6 working with my modem

  • Our home recently got HFC NBN roll out completed (installed utility box). NBN guy told us that now we can run a cable. Called optus and was told that NBN is not serviceable yet.
Does anyone know NBN guy meant by saying “we can run the cable …”.

Rep, are you able to see if we can get NBN service connected. Thanks. Constitution Hill NSW 2145.

  • Ah man I was going to sign up and then I saw the issues with a NBN HFC cut over… Maybe you guys can come up with a deal when this is in place to lure customers like me over

  • +1

I Signed Up - $17 dollars cheaper than ABB and More Download - bring it on

Hi Op. I am with Exetel and my contract runs out 14th of April. Your 500gb would suit me. Any idea of how long it takes to change over. How long will you offer this for?

  • Great deal OP. Looking to signup with your VOIP service to make the occasional outbound call - can I just request this in the notes? Will be sure to add the ported PTSN number / details.

Also this link is broken - https://www.telecube.com.au/hosted-pabx/cis/

  • Hi Rep,

    I'm currently with myrepublic.
Do I cancel myrepublic HFC NBN first? or just sign up with you? What's the best procedure for moving to telecube from myrepublic NBN HFC?

And can the modem and router provided by myrepublic be used with telecube service?

Router: Technicolor MediaAccess TG789MYRvac v2 HP
    Modem: ARRIS, model CM820B

    Thanks

    • +1

This has been answered 100 times before by the rep.

Cancel your connection with Myrepublic, once the line is clear then sign up with Telecube. You’ll have a bit of downtime as there’s no ‘churn’ process available with HFC with Telecube.

The router will work fine and the ‘modem’ is NBN’s NTD, so it’ll work with any ISP as it’s the property of NBN and stays with the house even when you move out.

    • Actually it depends on where you are .. please email support and ask

  • Deal expired? I was interested in this…

      • Thanks!

This question has probably been asked before but I estimate my line to be good for around 60/30Mbps, if I was to join the 100/40 plan and find my line is really poor is there any cost to drop back to 50/20 or 25/5?

        • no cost to change plans

        • @telecube:

You're making it hard to pass up! I'm pricing modems as we speak. The TP-Link Archer VR2800 looks like a winner, and should be supported by Telecube I'm guessing, since older models were listed on the whirlpool thread

What sort of time frame am I looking at to be online, I'm coming from ADSL2+. I'll need to wait for my modem to arrive anyway so I wouldn't be ready for a week or so anyway.

        • @Click_It: Normally 1 - 2 weeks when coming across from ADSL

We also have a Netcomm NF18ACV available for $149 configured and delivered if you are interested.

        • @telecube:

Awesome thank you, signing up now.

  • i shifted to telecube from teleron and was provisioned on thursday. now do i have to cancel my teleron connection myself or will it automatically be canceled?

    • +1

You will need to cancel your old provider

  • Store rep said "the nbn guarantees 12/1 as a minimum so if you come across to nbn and aren't getting at least that we can get your wiring looked at"

    Store rep:

Will i get the 12/1 connection speed nbnco guarantee and corresponding actual raw fair dinkum downloads 24/7/365 without fail?

    822 metres from my node.

    Thank you

    • Sorry I can't guarantee that

  • Changed over from aussiebb to these guys. First test during a peak time and this is what I get https://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-test/results/54454483 on a 50/20 plan, pathetic. How do I go about getting a refund. 4

    • That's not the speeds you can expect .. there is definitely something wrong there. Please test other speed test sites, ensure you are connected by ethernet and email support if it persists

      • Thanks for the support, after some troubleshooting we seem to have figured out the speed issues and am hitting about 40mbps + now during peak time. Very impressive to see support from John M after their official support hours.

  • Hey rep, was wondering if there was any chance of reviving this deal?
