  • Also interested, though their prices seem too good to be true

    • I took the gamble and bought from them about last week. Can confirm the legitimacy of their services. Laptop came in less than 2 days from when I ordered and it came in tip-top condition; honestly could not tell it apart from a brand new (except for some very subtle scratches). Highly recommend 'em :) Feel free to dm me if you got anything to ask

      • Old thread, but it comes up on a search for Renewd so I'll add this here for future googlers. October 2018.

Just bought a Surface Book from Renewd, condition was listed as "Excellent Plus" which was accurate as it looks absolutely brand new. I suspect they got it straight from Microsoft manufacturer refurbished.

It came with the just the laptop and an ac adapter, no pen (didn't think it would be included, since the listing didn't mention a pen) - in bubble packaging in a plain brown box. Ordered using the free shipping option on Wednesday afternoon, arrived Friday morning - sent with StarTrack Premium.

After registering it on my microsoft account I found this one still has five months warranty left on the two year Microsoft warranty. Noice. Renewd has 90 days warranty, but I won't be using that obviously.

I'll second that highly recommend 'em. They were very friendly on the online chat too.

  • I've had a great experience with them, too. bought 2 items in Excellent condition, both got delivered within 2 days, and the amount I paid was so low, that I still can't believe it! the last purchase, an excellent condition Lenovo Ideapad 310 with i7 gen7, NVIDIA card, and 8gb of dual channel ram cost me only $250 after all the discounts! and it feels like new!

I'm very happy with my order from Renewd so far. HP Pavilion 15-AW009AX 15.6" Laptop - AMD A10/256GB SSD/8GB RAM/Win 10/Radeon R8 MX445 graphics for $260, excellent condition!!

This is a laptop that retailed for $1800 back in mid 2016.

I honestly can't believe my luck with this price.

It was originally advertised as 16gb RAM for $340 with 15% off coupon from $399, but they called me and told me the listing was wrong. They called me and offered me an $80 refund, or a full refund and cancellation of the order. I chose the refund, making the total $260.

The laptop arrived two days after my order and it performs perfectly, no problems with the condition except minor scratches and a tiny crack on the edge.

So far, so good, and I'm a very happy customer. Such a solid machine in great condition for the price of a total shitbox Chromebook is certainly a pleasant buy.

Ordered an macbook air in excellent condition, was given a retina macbook pro instead. The item was flawless with no dent and scratches.

  • I have just received my order from Renewd.com.au and am disappointed.
    The Facts:
    - I ordered a Laptop, listed as "Good" condition, $249 After discount
    The Good:
    - The service was great, item delivered within 2 business days
    - Refund offered straight away
    - Return label sent via e-mail
    - The general condition of the screen and overall appearance was clean.
    - The On-line sales person was able to suggest different devices, eg- one without white screen blotches.
    The Bad:
    - Several Keys on the keyboard functioned intermittently, depending on how you held the laptop.
    - The unit delivered to me included structural cracks and significant damage around the power button (it had clearly been dropped on it's end)
    The Ugly:
    - The conditions of sale allow for dents, scratches, heavy wear and small cracks hinges. There was no mention the potential for cracks in the body of the unit.
    - The online consultant prior to purchase declined to provide photo's of the unit, I understand why, I would not have purchased it if I had seen it.
    - Battery life is not a condition of sale, include replacement costs in your budget if you intend to take it on the road.
    My opinion:
    1. Keyboard Fault aside, The laptop is not what a reasonable person would consider "Good Condition" it was barely average, Renewd have re-defined the definition of good in their terms, which in my opinion is misleading. I was tempted to re-order a "Great" grade unit but it has similar conditions, minus the potential for screen blotches, scratches and small hinge cracks
    2. Don't order a device in Good condition, no matter what the price, or if you do, get detail from the sales staff as to what you can and can't use for parts.
    Caveat:
    - I have no experience with their "Excellent" grade devices, my story is from the bargain basement.

  • I m also looking for a laptop works like new (irrespective of little scratches here and there) but the laptop performance wise should be great. Also after reading the above article from one of our folks explaining GOOD condition which means not good, i am thinking now.

  • Just ordered one of these. For $299, it just seems very good value!

  • I've just recieved my laptop from the last OzBargain sale.

We were so happy with the quality that we wanted another 2, coupon code has now been expired. Spoke to online chat and they've sent an invoice with the expired coupon.

    Will buy from again!

  • Purchased a macbook pro 2015 for $700
arrived in great packaging and great condition
    although wifi was faulty
support sent me a return label and sent me 2016 macbook pro as an upgrade
    pretty impressed with the service

  • took a chance during their last sale as prices seemed really good for used/refurb items.

    Purchased Ipad Pro 12.9"
condition report said "great" - Came in what I would consider excellent condition and was extremely happy surprised here.
worked perfect with no issues and couldn't be happier with the results. Saved a lot of retail price and even cheaper then most used options like gum-tree.
I had thought I was missing the power cable which was there, but support had replied to my email with a phone call in about 30 minutes and had a replacement on its way with tracking after about an hour or so. luckily I was able to cancel it before it was to late!

would absolutely recommend, any used item can be a gamble but they seem pretty straight forward and good at what they do. 10+ on my purchase :D
