  • FYI, you need to send in the carton barcode to redeem this offer, so you actually need to have it delivered today or tomorrow.

    • Wrong! You have 14 days from date of purchase. The offer ends 24/12/2010, therefore if you bought the tv on the last day of promotion you have 14 days to send paperwork to Sony for verification.

    • You can also just post in a photo of the barcode, which is what I did.

Photo taken by an iPhone 4?

    • :o) didn't have a scanner handy…

    • haha

  • wow im gutted considering i paid 1840 from bing lee 2 weeks ago :(

      $1840 for a 40"? That seems a little excessive.

  • great deal, but 40 inch is a bit too small for me. Got a 42" and looking to upgrade

  • I wonder how much they want for the 46". Kinda regret buying a 40" now as it's not as big of an upgrade as I expect it to be.

I bought the 46" 3 weeks ago from Bing Lee. I I got them down to $2280 + free 3D entertainment pack. I tried to get better at the good guys and they told me to buy it from bing lee at that price. So naturally I went back to bing lee and told the guy the The Good Guys offered me the same deal with a free slimline wall mount kit also. Salesman not happy but he honoured it. So I was pretty happy.

$1499 for the 40 inch, while too small for me, is a great deal tho :)

      • Good score. Though I've seen people on the 'pool getting them for much closer to 2k now, in the space of that few weeks. I paid 2299 back then too.

  • DAMM!!! lol

I just bought this tv from videopro for $1600 plus 5yr warranty for $200 = $1800
and i thought i was getting good deal. i had a card saying $1499 from harvey norman but they would have
to order it in and no store would price match it.

does anyone know if videopro would pay the difference if i went back in with this receipt?

Do you also think your car will use fuel while you are reading this post on your computer and get Video pro to reimbuse you? Tough Luck buy one here and it will bring ur average price down

    • Didn't notice a problem in store on many trials.. have you had personal experience with this panel??

  • Thought this offer was only for authorised dealers or something and if you got it online the only authorised online dealer was catchoftheday?

    • Nah there's heaps of them. Don't listen to anything COTD tells you.

  • Does the OP or any one know the store that this was purchased from?
