Can confirm that a bidet has saved me at least $300 in toilet paper.

      Something about your sums smell

    • Your electricity+water bills increase?

      • Maybe by 10 cents. Also my Coloxil bill has also decreased thanks to the lovely enema function. Mmmm-mmmm, my pipes have never been so clean!

    Notification LED?

      Hang on… you're not WatchNerd!

      • I thought asking about Band 28 would be a stupid. Of course a toilet seat wouldn't have Band 28!

Good price but no deal as this doesn't have the dryer function

    • Hi can you suggest any with a dryer included thanks

      • +1

Just FART into the bowl, and then clamp down tight to direct the "echo" airflow as required.

TMI about the feminine cleaning feature…

  • Please… Stop tempting me…

  • You gotta be shitting me - these things keep on getting dumped on the market. What a pisser!

    • If we buy one of these, we become a smart arse !!

  • how do you connect the water jet? i heard it comes with chinese connection hose/pipe. Is there a converter available?

Please check from photo, purchase Kinetic 250mm water mixer tap extension from bunning around $6.00,it is easy to install. Photo link is https://gearbite.com.au/ebay/manual/bidet.jpg

      • thank you

    • +1

My toilet has the wall tap hidden inside the cistern, so I can't connect this. I've used them in Japan and am not really a fan anyway, but I do love gadgets…

  • Would require a power point next to the toilet I assume.

    • +2

      Correct,
How good if it was Eneloop powered

      • +3

Or solar powered if the sun shines out of….

  • Does this have a secret camera that the Chinese communist government can view?

Because I don't see the point in buying it otherwise.

    • I see your point. Maybe in the next generation, Xiao mi will install a dash camera under the toilet seat that can monitor the quality of defecation using artificial intelligence.

  • Am I wrong or would these bidet seats require a backflow prevention device?

    e.g. https://www.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/209234/OTR…

Doesn't seem like it'd be cheap to install one. They also need annual testing by a licensed plumber which adds to the cost…

    • Installing a toilet seat is a diy job. Most deals suggest a splitter for the municipal water source your toilet is already connected to. Backflow is unlikely, I've never seen a properly treated toilet at a private residence overflow.

    • Many of the cistern taps sold now include a backflow prevention device inside them. Good idea too, as in cases where there is a toilet on the second story it can back siphon.

  • Also, is this to Australian standards? There was a previous post about non-standard bidets damaging your plumbing and also being unhygienic/unsafe.

    • This isn't a bidet. it is a toilet seat. However a bidet cannot damage plumbing anyway… and all toilets are unhygienic/unsafe, so don't drink from them if there is anything floating.

  • Does it polish a turd?
