Is It a Good Deal after 20% off eBay Discount?

Hi,

I am in the market to find a gaming system.
(too much hassle for me to built it, yes, I am lazy)

I have seen this one listed on ebay.
Do you think it is a good deal after 20% off eBay Discount?
i.e. $2,511.20 after ebay discount.

Love the i7-8700k, GTX 1080-8GB (i know not TI :) ), 500GB M.2 SSD components.

Will love to hear all opinions.

Many thanks.

  • It's ok, https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/ Apart from the cpu and case, I just chose the cheapest parts for each component

Excludes windows, delivery, build fee(if needed)

Could possibly save $200+ building it yourself. Maybe more as you can choose the exact parts you want. Downside is buying from multiple store. Up to you if you're ok with the parts and think ~10% extra over building it yourself is worth it.

    • thanks mate, the website is handy

  • It's okay. I like the lower spec 7600k 1080ti combo with the ability to have $400 worth of upgrades (through their sketchy looking upgrade parts eBay links) better though as hyperthreading is mainly for non gaming activities.

Honestly though second hand 1080 evga graphics card around 650 would be better value when u slot it into any system built within the past 5 years. Ti versions are just too expensive with even second hand being about a grand, not recommended unless u have a huge monitor.

    • my monitor is just a 27" without 4k display, don't think a 1080ti card can be fully utilised so it is a no go. thanks anyway

      • get a 1070 in that case
