    Good thing they aren't giving away coles baked biscuits. We bought some chocolate ones recently. They were a bit weird texturally - soft and falling apart. Horrible flavour. I'll eat crap quality food, virtually anything even if I don't like it, but these things were literally inedible. We threw out all but two (one for me, one for my partner.. neither of us would eat any more)

      many biscuits now use palm oil instead of butter …. palm oil doesn't make them taste better, but it does make them cheaper.

      It's getting harder to get good biscuits at the supermarket …. short bread seems the last biscuits without palm oil or other vegetable shortening.

    Just made me wonder about people who have invested life savings/borrowings that are starting up and/or trying to get a Food Truck up and running.
    Would like to know what other people think. Fair trade or just another huge company eating up the little guys only after seeing the potential & competition?

    It's surely not impossible to imagine Coles and/or Woolies food trucks lined up and handing out freebies wherever said Food Trucks have landed.
    I also wouldn't necessarily disagree with those who say its just fair trade… just sparing a thought for the smaller guys here really.
    Maybe the large companies that start dong so should be limited to say two operations per city? Anyone?

    (note that I am not a Food Truck owner/operator, no relations or ties to anyone in the particular business)
