Tractor Shed: Clare Valley Riesling 2017. Over 60% off. $99/Dozen Inc Free Shipping

OZBARGAIN

I've had a handful of requests to sharpen the pencil on the new Clare Valley Riesling 2017 that we've recently released. Well, it's been a good week on a number of fronts, so I am happy to oblige.

So why not, grab a bargain from James Halliday 5* producer and small, family vigneron, Geoff Hardy.

This Export Label Riesling 2017 won't fail to disappoint, especially at this price point. Don't pay the usual RRP, don't even pay the export/wholesale price of $120/doz. Just $99 and Free Shipping exclusive to Ozbargain subscribers.

For those looking for a couple of other sub-$100 bargains, there's a wonderful Adelaide Hills Sauvignn Blanc blend and a new release red blend also available and also with Free Shipping! Swing away!

Now the wine stuff - Lots of lemons and limes abound. It's deliciously moreish and reveals a little green apple which glides through to a crisp finish. A great match for Asian foods with a bit of heat.

Finally, let me know what wine you'd like t see us sharpen the pencil on next in the comments box and I'll do my best to oblige :-)

As a small, family business, we rely on your word of mouth endorsement. If you are enjoying these wines, please don't keep it a secret, please tell everyone you know and click the Like Button. :-)

OP, you haven't had the 20% off for a long while. Am I spoiled by those? always good wines.

    • Hi James. Thanks for feeding back. We can certainly do that for you at some stage. I'd been getting some feedback about having single deals on specific wines. Watch this space :-)
      Cheers

Thanks Evil-Elmo for taking time to feed in. Love to hear what you guys want. Am sure we can do that again at some stage. Leave it with me. Cheers! RD :-)

  • Any reviews on these? I can't seem find these wines anywhere else…

    • Not yet, literally only released six weeks ago. It's with the like of James Halliday, Sam Kim, Winestate Magazine, Wine Showcase Magazine and a handful of others. They do take a little while to come through.

      Ratings for the 2016:

      94 Sam Kim
      94 Tony Keys
      92 Wine Showcase Magazine

      Hope that helps. Cheers RD

  • No complaints but might want to update this as it's selling at $119, not 'under 100' as per the discription.
    Export Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Can back up the quality of the wine from here. Always been excellent.

Was a little worried when I bought some Export Label Gruner Veltliner as opposed to the Hand Crafted (misread description) but in retrospect I think the Export might be a touch better.

    • Hi Miso. The deal is on the Riesling which is listed at $99/doz.

There's no mention of Export Label Cabernet Sauvignon in my original post which is not subject to the deal but is available at $149/doz. It's a great buy. Will cellar for many years.

      Cheers

Not what I'm saying. I'm letting you know that your text for the Export Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 says this:

"91 Hao Shen. One of China's top wine writers has rated this wine highly and with notes of blackberries, plums and hints of mint, it's an absolute steal at less than $100! - RRP: $240.0?"

        And the price is $119.00.

So you might want to fix the price or the text depending on what is accurate. As $119 is not less than $100 (according to my calculations)

        Friendly advice.

Any ozfarmers disappointed there is no tractor shed for $99?

    • That would be a deal. Cheers RD

Just ordered! Been very happy with the GMH white meritage (was an absolute steal at $65/12 a little while back), export sav blanc, and lakeside shiraz

    • Thanks Luigi for the comments and the suport for our family's wines. Enjoy! All the best RD :-)

  • Any chance I could get this shipped to Singapore, OP?

I will pay extra for freight etc. I'll also cover whatever import duties are levied on this end.

    regards,
    rusty

    • Hi Rusty. I’m afraid we don’t ship overseas. Cheers RD
