  • The previous post for a lease plan says you could own the phone for $10/m more. Just not in the title. It was added to that post early this morning

    • Ahh, whoops, didn't see that. My bad =(

    • There wasn't room to put in all eight variations in the title. S9 and S9+, 64GB and 256GB, lease and own-phone plans. I tried my best to help the OP.

  • Will harvey norman have the 100$ gift card with this one

    • You'd have to check with a Hn store, but I think a lot of the time they do coincide

  • I noticed they dropped TV Streaming included Data from the plan.

It was included in the last deal

    • I find that a lot of people look for unmetered streaming, but very few actually use it since it only really applies to SD videos of a certain bit rate.

25gb may be enough HD streaming for most people.

      • What is the usual usage MB per Min of HD streaming of netflix etc? Taking into account that they probably round up to nearest MB

        • Assuming the netflix bandwidth recommendations are correct, it can be up to 40mb/minute at 1080p, this depends on the bit rate of the source video though.

        • @DangerNoodle: 2.4GB Per hour, so that is 10 hours in total of viewing before you run out of data

  • Can anyone tell what does mean of lease? I need to return mobile back to Optus after 24months contract finished? or S9 is still belong to me after 24months?

    • With lease, you return the phone after the contract or pay a fee to keep the phone. You can trade up at any time after 12 months if you pay an extra 99 depending on the condition of the phone and it will re extend your contract to 24 months.

    • With lease, the phone and plan payments may be tax deductible. I think that is its main selling point, although I am no tax accountant.

  • How is Optus network in Victoria compared to Vodafone? I'm with Vodafone and right now they don't have good deal compared to this. Thanks..
