  • Technically not cash? Lol

  • ING for Apple Pay $0 fees. Bonus $75 if you bank with them & jump through similar hoops, depositing your paycheques etc.

  • do you need to live in Tassie to apply and qualify for the promo?

    • Apparently not. I received a phone call from them and I qualify (I live in NSW).
Other things: You can use an Redi ATM or ATM of the big four fee-free, and the $6/month can be waived for the first partial month (eg. April)

  • thanks got call too and they said if I get charged just call up they will waive the first month. also you can transfer 2k from family members account to your own to avoid the $6 fee. I'm not sure if you deposit 2k into the savings account instead of the transaction account if it will qualify or not?

Opened an account online last Friday 27/4. Was charged the $6 account fee yesterday because I didn’t have enough time to deposit the required $2k but just checked my account and looks like the $6 was automatically reversed (must be because of the partial month). Yay, didn’t have to call asking for the fee to be waived in my first month.

  • Any ideas for Apple Pay transactions? Apparently you can use Apple Pay online or with In-App Purchases. Any $0.01 in-app purchases? Thanks!

  • Do you even know what Apple Pay is????? Just pay for a takeaway burger or grab a carton of milk at the supermarket.

    • Yeah I do now. I signed up with MyState before I read further about it.
I have an ipad that supports Apple Pay, but unfortunately it has no NFC so I can't use it in-store (https://support.apple.com/en-nz/HT208531 )

      • Ask a friend or relative if you can add it on their phone. Only need to spend a few bucks. You could go to self serve in the supermarket and get it done in ten minutes.

  • Pretty slow app. Purchases from Saturday still not showing and the balance hasn’t changed either.

  • is there a minimum spend? has anyone gotten their $50 yet?

  • I was verified online late April but wife called up today not having heard or received anything only an email with the account number and was told that she needs to go to a jp and print off a form to send back via post. bit strange as it accepted the id online/ I think something up with their systems as they couldn't even find her customer no. until they checked another system. sounds like too much effort and the promo be over by the time she gets the debit card I think.

  • Anyone here received the $50 yet?

    • Nope, my $6 fee hasn't been refunded for this month yet either, hoping both will happen today.
