They should get the models back into sync, it's hard to justify the iPad pro at double the price, explains why in Apple stores the basic iPad is hidden in the corner with mainly only Pros on display.
Officeworks and Costco have them displayed right next to each other and you can check that the marginally smaller non-laminated screen makes bugger all difference and the performance is very much on par A10 vs A10X.
At this price with stylus support it's a great deal in comparison to competitors. The inability to store movies on a memory card and use it for in flight entertainment is a bit of a dealbreaker for ios imo
If you don’t mind messing around a little, it’s cheaper to get from Big W with Wish giftcards ($436). Still not as cheap as a price match from OW though.
