  • Iv been getting the aeg 5 piece combo sets 6.ah batteries drill driver torch grinder n cirk saw
    For $500 Bunnings it’s a delegated item

    • That kit's $899 at my local, i was there today.

    • +1

Just saw your comment on that deal. If I can get that matched, might be returning this tomorrow :/

Here is the link to the deal i posted last week. It depends if you want a circular saw and torch.
Honestly i was mainly after the grinder and a few extra batteries. Would of jumped on this deal equally quick.

  • Tel them it’s a delegated item and there been selling for $500 I’ll post recipe to help

    • I doubt it's been delegated, and the recipe probably won't help LOL

      • +6

        Everyone already knows Bunnings recipe:
        1x bread
        1x sausage
        1x onion (optional)
        1x sauce

    • +3

      Is that the recipe?

  • When they punch in the number it cums up deleted item but some places still scan at $899 but I tel them as it’s been deleted place are clearing them out at $500 so I got two sets marked down

When they punch in the number it cums up

      Bondage?

    What's a delegated item?

    • +1

      He means deleted.
When bunnings delete an item some stores go ahead and mark them down cheaper then the officail yellow ticket price. I think it depends on the manager and stock levels in store.
The trick is to see if your local has stock. If it does then approach a staff member with your phone and a picture of a posted reciept off ozbargain. Have that ready and ask if they will match the price. They will ask a supervisor/manager. The trick is to point out its deleted as dex says. I have used this method for a couple of years now and its worked the handful of times on power tools ive tried.

      • I always use this method and rember Bunnings price beat ebay to

  • Can anyone tell me, is the impact driver string enough to remove wheel nuts (of a full sized 4wd)?
I've seen Milwaukee 18v brushless do it

      https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-brushless-3-speed-impact…
I would give it a crack with this one but probably not the one in this deal.

      • +1

Yep, have that one and does the wheel nuts with ease…

    • At an equal price point https://adelaidetools.com.au/milwaukee-18v-fuel-brushless-1-…
Conpared wuth the above mentioned aeg one you are getting more bang for your buck.
But if price dint matter i would like this one.
      https://adelaidetools.com.au/milwaukee-18v-3-4-square-fricti…
As its pretty awesome and it would do anything. Probably what you saw do wheel nuts on a 4wd.

      • Why would you get the k e at the equal price poin, and how are you getting more bang for you buck? I assume the above mentioned one you mean the impact wrench posted? Coz the aeg one is 480nm and the one you posted is only 300nm..

        • When net plus mention a Milwaukee cracking wheel nuts i let him know there is an AEG that is a step up from the one in this kit posted by the OP and it would be a better choice if thats why he is buying a tool to do nuts. I then went further to show milwaukees equivilent to the AEG model price point wise and you were spot on the reason why AEG might be better because at almost the same price the torque of 480Nm versus 300Nm in the milwaukee.
But the next model up in milwaukee and an extra $100 gets you up to 1000Nm.
Depends on what brand you are invested in really and what your using the tool for.
Sorry for not been to clear initially.

        • @DarwinBoy: impact driver vs impact wrench… Different tool for different jobs. Maybe do the job. Could also use hair clippers to mow the lawn…

For reference I bought a near similar kit (BSB18KIT3-303B) from Bunnings back in 2014 for $399. However back then it was not brushless and had smaller 3.0Ah capacity battery. It has been rock solid for me.

  • Bunnings selling 5 piece combo aeg 5.ah Drill driver grinder reciprocating saw and blower 2 batteries n charger was 999 now clearance $499

    • Has anyone else had success at that price? I went into my local and they were willing to take $100 off the $899. Didn't try the receipt though but do they price match other Bunnings across the country? (I'm in WA)

I want one, might try my luck again tomorrow..

      • They will if u show receipt and tell them it’s a deleted item and stores across Australia selling for $500
When they scan the 5 piece kit it comes up as deleted

  • +1
    • Haha, how many are you buying. I count 3 there. Have you got another receipt from another store?

So is it a semi brushless kit?

      • It’s a brushless kit not semi yes three sets all from same Bunnings they were clearance item
        We’re $999 on Tag down to $499

  • Just picked up this (no longer can find on Bunnings) for $800 for the last one. https://www.aegpowertools.com.au/products/details/18v-6-0ah-…

Not brushless but for the amount of versatile tools I couldn't refuse!

    • Can you post a receipt for this? Looks like it would be a great deal. Is this a deleted line too? It's still showing on their website, so I'm not sure that it is : https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-6-0ah-11-piece-combo-kit…

      • I will do later on tonight mate when I get home, just quickly checked the receipt in my wallet and it's this model (I linked to the wrong one sorry - Bunnings receipt shows 603B2 at the end not 603BL - but its the 603BL on the website) https://www.aegpowertools.co.nz/products/details/18v-6-0ah-1…

Also bugger it's not valid for the promotion for either the code or time I got it. I'll have to check the box itself see which one it is for sure. Can't see any difference between the two kits on AEG website, maybe the nm of the drills? I know they have a few different rated ones?

        • +1

Wow - the one you just linked to is an even more expensive kit! I think you got a very very good deal!! Look forward to your receipt and then seeing if I can get anywhere else to match it :)

        • iv calked a few Bunnings in vic was told they will do $800 down from $1499
If I can show them a receipt

        • @baxter: Here we go, and the code on the carton
          https://ibb.co/bEOjvd
          https://ibb.co/fYxcFd

That AEG store link is the NZ site do must be the currency difference only. The receipt says originally 999 but the lady says that's what it was marked down to in the system, then further down to $800 manager clearance. So I'm thinking the normal Aus stock 603BL is normal RRP and this is just some random one? Bugger the code is different could have gone for the promotion with AEG for 2 x 6AH batteries otherwise.

  • Just started rining bunnings stores in vic heaps around but there $1490
    Sofar no luck at $800
