Cheap weekend away - 14th to 16th Jan

Live in Gold Coast and need to get away to where its not raining so much after having spent a week deployed in flooded queensland before going back to it again.

Happy to consider any direction where there is a better chance of sunshine for the weekend. Wondering if there are any deals on for flights out of Gold Coast or Brisbane to a city that also has some good deals on accomodation. Also, if you also happen to know any bargains on restaurants there then throw that in too.

for flights look on travel zoo. They have something which expires tonight. Remember seeing some Goldcoast flights too.
