Lum-Tec Watch ABYSS 400M US $450 (~AU $626) Shipped (after eBay Best Offer & DEALS4U Code) @ Billythetree eBay (RRP US $675)

DEALS4U

First post here.

Had my eyes on this watch for a while. They retail for $675usd (approx $900 aud), but if you offer $500usd and apply DEALS4U code on ebay, you'll pay $450usd (approx $625aud) and free shipping which normally is an extra $40usd.

This watch is limited to only 100 units, has a stainless steel case, sapphire glass with anti reflective coating, uses a Miyota 9015 automatic movement (self winding as you use) and has really nice Lum (glow in the dark) for low light conditions. It can be used for diving up to 400meters. It does come with a nice Wooden box to store it.
They do have other colours but I'm not sure if they would accept the offer of $500 on the other two colours.

They are assembled in USA.

Other colours that might not be as good of a deal, but give it a try submitting an offer of $520. I got a counter offer of $525 for the two models below.

Thanks for who ever fixed some of the things I did wrong on my first post. :)
Hopefully someone finds this a good deal.

According to the offer history nobody is paying the advertised price as nearly every offer has been accepted.

i cant say i would think to shave 195 on my offer for something listed at 695 - i clearly am not aggressive enough with my shopping on ebay!

[OT] I tried to offer $16 for a $17.90 item on ebay a few weeks ago, and the seller responded with $18. I wonder if people fall for that often.

        • I normally take 10% off, but some sellers give a few cents to a few dollars disocuntonly.
I only sent $500 because I wanted to go way below to see how the seller would counter offer. Then negotiate between his counter offer and what I really want to pay. I was surprised I got accepted, so maybe even try $490 or $480?

You can see they have like over 60 units of the blue, maybe they dont sell as fast in this colour so they are willing to discount more. The other colours only have 4 units left, so might not be as negotiable.

Oh by the way, they are each limited to 100 units per model.

Be careful when you use an RRP figure on a watch deal post, there's a certain member who goes around disapproving the use of RRP.

Lum-Tec have a pretty decent following in watch geek circles

I've got one from back before they became more expensive/popular, and its a solid watch with incredible lume (obviously)

    • is this like the luminox with the tiny gas filled tubes that illuminaute for 25 years and don't need sunlight ?

this one just says multi-layer paint so probably needs needs sunlight to energise up.

        You mean tritium?

      • nope
luminous paint, so yes, requires light to 'charge', but its incredibly high quality stuff.
Long luminous life and very bright.
