Agreed, don't think this is a bargain at all. An i7 HP laptop for $2199 is such a rip off.
I'm Surprise to see some good deal coming from Harvey Norman.
Must of been the boycott which people were pissed off about the online GST.
So this deal is trying to bring customer back.This deal is great for people that can claim pc as tax deductable. It's like getting a kinect for 20+ percent less.
still cheaper to buy a better PC elsewhere and then buy the kinect and still claim the PC cost on tax.
I don't know why no one gets this. To start with they have a Price match guarantee so you can get the price that you see at JB matched if not beaten. They just make it a bit of fun 'cause you get to haggle. There prices unless they're already on sale are normally going to be the RRP. You don't go by their ticketed prices you go buy the prices you haggle out of the salesman
yeah, they're going to hold the bundle over your head when you are trying to pricematch and refuse to go past a certain price stating that you are getting the kinect bundle.
It's not a Harvey Norman deal. It's a Microsoft deal. Please fix. Other retailers have it as well

I think people should use the fact that Harvey Nroman's price Guarantee covers 14 days post purchase, if i remember correctly. If you find the same model advertised at a lower price, they will refund 110% of the difference. So if you can guarantee the same model is available somewhere else cheaper, buy it from harvey's, get the free xbox, then next day take in the flyer/catalogue/etc and claim your refund.
Same as with boxing day sale prices that are pre-advertised (The Good Guys have same or similar price guarantee). Buy the day before the sale then get the difference and then some.
