D-Link Wireless N Day & Night Pan/Tilt Cloud Camera Wi-Fi Extender DCS-5020L $50 @ Officeworks

90

Hello Ozbargainers. This is my first post but definitely not my first ozbargain related purchase :)

Wireless N Day & Night Pan/Tilt Cloud Camera Wi-Fi Extender DCS-5020L

I purchased at Subiaco (WA) store and they had 1 left. You will need to call around for stock in other stores. Should be nation wide. My purchase receipt is attached.

Not the best resolution (640 x 480 @ 30fps) on the market by a long way as its an older model but for $50 and the added benefit of a Wi-Fi extender you cant go wrong.
The updated mydlink™ app is a bit on the slow side but works as it should. I have a DCS-960L and use the motion detection as my doorbell.

Cheapest i found today is $115 on Ebay.

HIGHLIGHTS
Pan & Tilt Function – Remotely pan and tilt live video and keep an eye on a larger area
Sound and Motion Detection – Enhanced email alerting based on sound and motion sensing technology
Wi-Fi Extender – Easily add more cameras or expand your home's wireless network
66o Horizontal Field of View – Keep an eye on a greater area
Night Vision – View up to 8 metres in complete darkness
Remote Viewing – No fees or monthly subscriptions to view on iPhone®, iPad® or Android® with mydlink™ app or mydlink.com

4 year old camera .. Old tech and probably worth not more than $25 to $30

      defiantly

      • So what are you saying there?
Old tech defying trend of diminished value since it's priced at $50?

"he defiantly refused to consider the camera."

          why so defiant?

Is it worth more if I list it as a WiFi extender with Night Vision? :P

    640 x 480 @ 30fps, Jesus not even 720!

  • Night time monitoring is also possible thanks to built-in infrared LEDs which allow for night time viewing of up to 26 feet (8 meters), enabling round-the-clock monitoring of your home or small office.

So will I have an issue if I stick it behind a window?

    • I had a camera with infrared up against a window looking out and it was ok but if its not right up touching the glass, you will get a refection.
