  • Nothing to get too excited about. A simple Google search shows that several stores (including JB and HN) are selling it for prices in the $190s.

Those are both flash sales as well. Applianceonline normally sells this for $319

  • Reakon I can fit this in my car?

This question makes about as much sense as me asking ozbargain if I can afford to buy it. Depends on the size of your car/wallet.

      • Il pay if you can fit it in ya wallet lol

You can do a price match with Appliances Online and they usually have free delivery.

Also, they can take your old dryer if you have one.

      • Called them and they won’t include delivery if they do the price match

        • I did that last year with a washing machine through chat (price match and free delivery). Just give it a go through chat.

Do you live in metro areas? I've bought a few large things there and everything has been free delivery and installation.

    • Yes you can.

    • Flashbacks of helping people move these things. Even with a truck it’s a PITA.

  • i got this at $239 last June. A simple machine that does it's job well.

I think 2.24% cash back brings it down to $189.65 as well :)

  • I have one of these and an Electrolux Sensor Dryer (yes two dryers, lots of kids) and guess which machine is still working. Yep the Simpson. Great cheap dryer.

    • Which model Electrolux Sensor Dryer do you have?

      Thanks

1.5 star energy rating - it may cheap, but in the long run it may cost you more in power. Choice also lists 1 of its 2 bad points as being relatively expensive to run. I have solar panels and need a new dryer so it could be a goer for me thanks to offsetting.

A heat pump dryer has 6 star and is cheap to run but will cost around $1500.

  • Agree but the dryers in $500-700 range are not much different being 2 stars only.

Go to a hardware store and buy a clothes line that attaches to the wall and install in the garage.
Have not used my clothes dryer in 2 years.
Clothes line was high $100 and took a couple of hours to install.
This is one of the best things I have done to save power.

      Great idea I'll borrow that.
