Paul's Warehouse Birthday Sale - Shoes Starting from $4, Compression Wear, $24

50

Got a brochure in the mail. 24th birthday sale, things that caught my eye:

Reebok ankle socks: 3 for $4
Many many shoes priced at $4, $24 or more
Skins tops for $24
Adidas compression for $24, top and bottom
Levi's jeans for $24…
Razor A scooter for $24 (no idea whether this is the same as the midly popular one at kmart a few days ago)

anyway, lots more, have a look on the website.

EDIT:

it seems like there are things on the brochure that are not on the website, I have in front of me, the following shoes at $4: Vans Kids skate shoes, tredsafe womens leather shoes, spalding runners, la gear baby, airwalk mens leather sandals…

    where's the $4 shoes?

  • You are right, can't see any on the website, but on the catalogue:

Vans Kids skate shoes, tredsafe womens leather shoes, spalding runners, la gear baby, airwalk mens leather sandals are all $4.

Perhaps I should mention that I am in Sydney. Maybe that makes a difference?

  • Damn that compression gear is CHEAP!!!

  • No stores in SA, QLD, WA, NT

    • you can still buy online…

      • i can't see any of those prices reflected on the site though…
rebok ankle sites r $10. can't see any discounts on skins.
is it somewhere other than the "24th BIRTHDAY SALE" items?

      • plenty of Womens DC's discounted but no mens. Gender Bias

  • I went to my local PW yesterday, complete rubbish, most of the shoes were all one size, great if you need that size but otherwise a waste of your time and a lot of the shoes had marks on them, but I find that to be the case with most of their shoes all year round.

    • When I lived in Sydney that was my experience too, it was the dregs no one else could sell…But one mans trash is…

      • I am Sydney next week, I will check them out anyway, I need a new pair of X trainers and a pair of DC's, I hope they have more than what is offered on the website.

      • Yep! I'll admit I've bought some shoes from there, nothing special just ones I'm going to thrash anyway so it doesn't matter how great the quality is. I found a lot of the boxes for the shoes yesterday had stickers or writing on them saying "display".

    • Same experience, whatever they had cheap was either extreme sizes or ultimate rubbish. Waste of your time.

  • Hmmm…

Vans Kids shoes at $4 ????

Last week vans for adults at $42 ????

I must suspect that these are/were fakes.

    • Don't think Pauls sells fakes, they just sell the rubbish from the manufacturers that no one wants to buy. I consider them to be almost like a secondary factory outlet for those stores (the main factory outlets can be pretty good at times). They're pretty cheap but all of their styles (in sneakers at least) are absolute crap.

Still, if they do have sizing of that compression wear at that price…

  • They probably clearing the shoes sizes which don't usually fit many people.

  • Reebok socks looked ok until it was going to cost $18.99 postage to country Vic.for 2 pairs.

    • Bought a pack of the Reebok socks and while they feel comfortable, they also feel synthetic. There is nothing to indicate fabric mix. The writing on the packet looks like it is possibly Thai, though I'm no expert.
