  • Second sim 2g or 3G

    The plus is a better deal IMO. Might be the cheapest yet at $660.

    Black version can be had for a bit more

    Same code for both

    • Thanks for posting this deal. I jumped and bought one…..although I should have gone for the black colour but it's all the same anyway once I put a cover on.

      • Contact them asap, they might be able to help you out. I jumped on it asap because I was worried that they might jack up the price for today's store wide sale xD

        My phone upgrade is long overdue, starting to getting annoying constantly checking ozb for phone deals.

        • I just bought the Black G955FD as well, along with a cheap slim case

        • Thanks, I bought one. My phone upgrade was also long overdue; I’m upgrading from an LG Nexus 4.

          @pba: Np, happy to help.

          I don't know if anyone else is interested, but I plan on flashing this to the Australian firmware as soon as I get it. Which will enable samsung pay, australian sofware updates, VoLTE etc. No root is needed and it won't trip nox apparently.

          Apparently hardware wise, this version is basically the same as the australian model (G955F) but with dual sim (probably explains the same model name, but with an extra D for dual).

          A lot of people seem to have it work no problem, no reports of bricking so far over at whirlpool

          My phone is supposed arrive tomorrow, so I might give it a go on Thursday

        • @Butt Scratcher: I received my phone today,it appears to be a UK version. I'm a bit surprised that it is actually sealed, in the past when I bought grey imports they were always opened.

          I highly suggest you flash it to the australian firmware (Note that the link is for the PLUS version), it's pretty easy and only takes about an hour. It will also whipe your data. But as always, do it at your own risk.

  • Supports band 28? Not according to the specs on eglobal's ebay listing.

  • Snapdragon S8s are a pain to custom flash or gain root access, wouldn't recommend

    • I copied and pasted the wrong specifications initially. the International dual sim phones have exynos. The American models have Snapdragons.
