After postage and conversion. Nice find.

Edit: Strange…. The unit price changes to 14.11GBP at checkout.. So it's even cheaper again.
Gah, that'd be the removal of tax I guess. =]

  • I don't know how to get it from the keyboard either so I usually find one in text somewhere and just copy/paste it :)

Amazon UK takes off the VAT, The Hut doesn't it works out to be £15.32 shipped. The Hut deal was £15.94.

Yes Amazon combine postage. The Hut also sometimes packs in bubble envelopes, Amazon UK have always posted in cardboard for me.

        • Ah ic, thanks!

    • Alas, apparently the "Life" video format is 1080i 50Hz. Since I have a US PS3, it won't be able to handle 50Hz blurays. A shame. I was thinking of buying it.

      • Dude, I bought "Life" from Amazon.co.uk and it works fine on my (HK) PS3… I don't think there's any difference in Hz between HK and AUS PS3s… Surely.

        • You missed the fact that I have a US PS3. And there's definitely a problem playing "Life" on it. Try googling it.

  • -2

    australian prices please

    • +2

After removal of VAT and shipping, it's £17.79. How much that will translate to in AUD will vary depending on your method of payment, as different cards/banks use different rates.

      It'll be about $29.

  • thanks mate

  • Great find. Pity the third film is one of the great disappointments in cinema history! Still, this is a real bargain.

    • +2

not as disappointing as the third matrix.

  • When do you know when something is actually on special on amazon uk? Because all of their dvds are below the RRP anyway, does it show when they are on 'sale' on top of their already 'sale' prices?

  • Thanks, just ordered my self a copy :)

Edit: Will all blue-rays from Amazon UK work on my PS3?

    • The clearly labelled "[US Import]" ones won't, 'cause they're not the UK editions. But all the normal ones will, yes.

      • The US Import blurays will often work on Australian players. You have to check regionfreemovies.com to see if they've been released as region free. If they're being sold on the Amazon UK site, chances are they're region free. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

  • ^^^ Yes. British region and Australian region is the same. Assuming you have an Aussie Ps3!
