  In Queensland I can today purchase another brand of petrol ten cents cheaper than a nearby Shell station. Do Flybuys and shell jack the price to offer a discount?

    Same in SA. I've noticed the Coles ones are usually 10-15c more than others for both petrol and LPG.

    I used to go there all the time and spend $20 in store to get an additional 10c per litre for my 140 litres. Then I noticed the fuel price difference and the price of most items in store started rising.

  You can save more than 10cents per litre … by not going to Coles Express.

  Coles Shell are thieves and scammers .. thieves because their fuel prices are waaay above the competition everywhere and scammers because they then have to gall to offer illusory discounts to attract the gullible .. any reputable business would be embarrassed by their behaviour .. :-( .. !!

  If you've opted for the 8x FlyBuys points per litre offer you don't get these.

  I'll give this deal a +1 just because I've only got a choice of either Coles Express or Woolworths Caltex in town, and neither of them budge further than 1 or 2 cents from eachother. At least a 10 cent discount is better than nothing.
