DJI Mavic Air - $1298 ($1205 with AmEx Cashback + Online Chat with Customer Support) @ Harvey Norman

70

This is not a straight forward deal. Harvey Norman currently have this for $1298. I went Harvey Norman Broadway store looking for a better price and those Mod: Foul Language there treated me like a time waster. Being an ozbargainer, I turned to their online support chat and was immediately offered a price of $1255. AmEx cash back message arrived in an instant. I am traveling abroad next month and hope to get the GST reimbursed. The receipt is here.

Doesn't look like an awesome deal to me.. especially considering you need more batteries.

The site is ozbargain.com.au not ozawesomedeals.com.au

This is called Ozbargain not OzSemiOkayDeals

  • I will get Mavic pro @ $1,398, $1348 with Amex offer, plus GST from travelling. You will get one extra battery as well.

I thought about that before the purchase. In my view Air has some features that are important to me. Better portability, inbuilt memory , “technically” better video and $100 lesser than pro. I am just curious about drones and may not spend much time flying this after the initial excitement. There are second hand batteries available in gumtree if I get really interested.

Not surprised by how you were treated in-store.
After all, our morning meetings consist of finding the best way to rip-off our customers… or to "stitch up" our customers (to quote the manager and franchisee).

    Terrible culture.

  • Mavic Air Fly More Package was $1299 last week wasn't in?

  • Ive had 2 x mavic pro. Ive had endless problems with the cameras, just to flimsy and unprotected.
I am about to get another and thinking about getting the Air for that reason. Problem is I already have 4 batteries (mavic pros destroyed)

Im just waiting for the mavic pro 2 to get released so i can check features before i pull the trigger. Not having a drone now is costing.
