  • Could have done this yesterday for the Logitech promo :P

    • +3

      5% off their doubled prices

  • Im never shopping with DSE, they won't even let me price match their n100 laptop cooler to officework's price. Lots of people missing out the promo cuz of them :(

    • +1

I stung them last year when HN had Dlink n150 routers for $37.
The sales person & Manager were P!%%ed! (ours on special for $99! LOL)…but they did it for $37.

This was the Springwood store (near IKEA)

Actually I like supporting DSE where possible, because they have a pretty good attitude for returning purchases with a full refund (including change of mind). Try that with some of the other stores like JB or HN (damn them to hell).

I have had this experience too - best returns policies I have come across in the IT industry!

        • +5

This is what keeps me shopping at DSE.

    • DSE has always charged full price or above retail. It goes all the way back to when they actually sold hardcore electronics and components.

  • umm uraha promo is finshed - finito - kaput!??

    • the 5% off? I only got the email a few hrs ago and it was suppose to last till 21/2!

    • OMGG really D:

I got my share of the money in the morning ;) camped outside DSE before they opened up :)

  • $49 for Optus locked Nokia 7230 !!
Thats cheap considering i spent $149 last year…

    • how long is the phone locked for, can you unlock it for free after certain period?

      • +1

Sorry.. Don't know about the locking T&Cs.
All i know is that Optus wants you to spend $80 recharge before they can unlock for free..
But guess it should be easy to get it unlocked from elsewhere..
I got mine from Voda which was already unlocked.

      • Last time I looked at it, it need to wait 6 months and need to activate the Sim online, but you don't have to use it (that is what I believe). I have a phone waiting like that with Optus. And you can use the phone for post-paid plan without problem!

can you order online and pick up at a dse store for free?

      • Thats a really good service. Is it free to use ? OW charges ~$5 for the same thing.

    • +2

Not with this phone, which stated online special only and no floor stock anyway!

  • Anything worth getting that is cheap?

  • I don't trust dse online, I bought a laptop and mobile phone last month and both turned out to be faulty so I had to return them to the store.

  • Can someone confirm if the code works? I tried to buy asus a50 with it (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/39408), but it's not working.

  • Code doesn't work for me either

  • Sorry a bit off topic, but did anyone who bought from this deal in DEC: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/36932
    receive their 15% cashback?

I still haven't yet & they promised it would be paid back on the 4th or 11th Feb…..I'm really peed off now…
they better not be tryin' to weezel out of it!
