I have been following OLC direct today and found that they increased prices by almost 10%. Lenovo Ideapad 720 was for 1249 and now it is for 1399. All lenovo E580 prices have been hiked by 150-200 bucks. Not sure about this specific laptop.

Most of OLC's stocks went out of stock and now appering as new stock with jackedup price.

  • All jacked up to standard levels. No deal.

  • Yep, items marked out of stock and now back with jacked up prices. Not good form @OLC! Tsk tsk

    • I realised that once it is on ozbargain @OLC then jack the price up

this morning the EVo 860is good example , after few units sold then it is our of sock and 15% more expensive.

I sent an email to ask for stock and being told it is back in stock with the inflated price

  • I just got this laptop on a tightarse special. There are a few really annoying thing about it despite it being a good laptop.

    • the fn and ctrl buttons are reversed for some stupid reason. For touch typers it will annoy the feck out of you
    • the battery settings don't seem to work properly. I have it on switching off the screen after 4 mins and going in to hibernate after 10 when on battery and neither has properly happened. The screen goes dark but it's obvious that the screen is still on. I have the oled screen version. It means that the battery will drain seriously fast when you're not at the laptop.
    • Check the bios settings. May be possible to swap them.
