List of Cheap Chinese Buying Sites (Wiki)

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. Those with power, feel free to move this if you think it's appropriate.

So after only doing a bit of work in the Epic Threads portion of the wiki, I got inspired by Neil to do a bit more wiki work :)

I found this page http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/list_of_buying_sites a little bit messy and outdates so I'm currently in the process of cleaning up the page.

I've run into a few problems tho, the original thread that started the page has been flagged as spam, most of the page is more of an informative rant (sorry ozpete :( )rather than useful information.

What I need help with atm:
-Is there a newer "official" thread for discussing these sort of sites that I can link to?
-Can I move some of the more rant-ish stuff (once again apologies to ozpete) to that thread (or if it doesn't exist, create one and make it the "official" thread)

I'm still a bit of a junior member here, so any help is appreciated :)

    Firstly, nice job. The wiki certainty needs some cleaning up and organisation.

    I'd say just make your contribution to the wiki. If there are issues or people want to add on then other members can do so (I see Scott fixed something up just a little while ago). Collaborative effort.

    What thread got removed for SPAM?

    Even putting them into bullet points or into a table, it's still a lot of text that really seems more suited for the forums as it's a single user's opinion (just my opinion tho). Would it be alright to just repost it into the forums (probably into the thread you've linked) and then make a link to the thread in the wiki? Just thought it'd look cleaner.

      Wiki's are community property, its there to assist us all, all contributions are welcome, be that improvements etc

      Well done and you are welcome to keep working on it.
