I own a samsung 46" LED 6900 and I am very happy with it. I need to buy another one but I was told by jb that samsung doesnt produce the 46" LED's anymore.

  • That's a good thing, samsung's warranty support is absolutely 100% CRAP!

    • didnt get you mate

      • Don't want to be rude, but at the end of the day, I generally recommend a person looking for an item to research what the 'best' item is for them. At the end of the day, recommendations on TV's are really subjective. Now, if you gave us a model number then I'm SURE we could find you the best price :) Plus LED is such a new technology for TV's we'd all be standing around scratching our heads wondering what the 'best' is. No real clear winner has emerged in regards to brands/LED TV's yet :)

        • sorry about that mate. I wasnt sure which one to get and hence the confusion as well for me. I have looked around for different tv's and i want to buy the 7 series 55" 3D LED TV. I have been to jb hi fi today and was offered the price $2,700.00 but they had none in stock. Is there anything cheaper than this price???

  • Im all about picture quality so I don't care what anyone says but a plasma screen from say panasonic is still the best going around. If I had to get an LED screen, it would be a sharp LED Quottron http://quattrontv.com.au/live/ not sure what the going price is but personally i think they have the best depth, colour, contrast of any LED i've seen on the market.
In saying that, you never stated what you were going to use it for e.g sports, what your price range is and whether or not you wanted 3D.

If you want 3d, panasonic is where its at and in general I quite like panasonic tvs.

    • thanks a lot for the suggestion. I quite like plasmas too but I dont have a dark room and hence I want to go for a LED. 7 series 55" 3D LED TV it is what I want.
